Hello everyone, I've finally finished Mio's backstory. I hope you enjoyed it. I usually never do this but I'm going to take a moment to say that this comic is my full time job. I work on it 5-6 days a week with my one assistant, @barbelzoa, whom I am paying with book money. I make my entire usable paycheck (rent, utilities, groceries) on Patreon. i feel like this arc is going to be an inversion of ava's arc at the headquarters. There ava got to express her rage and here I think Maggie is going to express her kindness

I'm looking at that face and this really feels like someone confronted with the idea of caring about others, that the world is bigger than themselves and that they have to put other's needs first.

Considering how each of the four main cast and their demon is tied to one of the gods, ava = chaos gil = order Odin = death and Maggie = life I feel that this is gonna be the arc where Maggie drinks the vial and then grows a tree to replace the god of life tree and destroy the palace in the process as she obviously fits into its role.
