Sonic R Full Playthrough
Araiguma Rascal/Raccoon Rascal
Based on the Anime of the same name, Araiguma Rascal: Raccoon Rascal (あらいぐまラスカル) is a Puzzle video game published by J-Force, NCS released on March 25th, 1994 for the SNES.
Life is quiet in Brailsford Junction, Wisconsin for Sterling North. One weekend, cutting away from his usual chores, Sterling, his friend Oscar, and Hauser head off on a fishing trip. On their way to the river, his dog catches a scent at the base of a tree. Unearthing a raccoon's nest, the two boys find an orphaned raccoon. A passing hunter has killed the baby's mother to make a fur hat, leaving Sterling to adopt and care for the orphaned raccoon which he name Rascal.
the original 1977 anime led to a huge rise of importing raccoons as pets in Japan. As the animals grew up they became very problematic for most people and causing many owners to release them into the wild. Unfortunately due to a lack of natural predators in Japan, the raccoons thrived became an invasive species, causing widespread damage and harm to native ecosystems and historic temples.
In this super cute little Super Nintendo game, players guide young Rascal through various side-scrolling platforming and Match 3 style levels. While generally light-hearted, the gameplay often involves tasks like collecting items and navigating obstacles, while staying true to the anime's wholesome tone. Although never officially released outside of Japan, Araiguma Rascal does have english translation available if you're interested in trying out this game!
Golden Sun - Vale
Team Golden Sun!
Currently Obsessed with these games. Originally released in Japan as Panel De Pon, Here in the US it came to us as TETRIS ATTACK! Having absolutely nothing to do with Tetris other than name alone, the game features characters from the SMW2: Yoshi's Island. eveything else is the same. Tetris Attack saw a brief release in Japan on the SNES Satellaview as BS Yoshi's Panepon.
For our Game of the Month June 2025, we will be playing thru Golden Sun! orginally released on Gameboy Advance! You can pick it up on the Nintendo Switch Online Gameboy Advance app or anywhere you find your games!
This month we are playing Quest64 in honor of its birthday! Come and hang out every month in June as we get out Quest on!

I know what you're thinking, But I just finished this and you know what? It's not bad. Sure, it's aimed at kids in 1995, but it has kind of a modern day cozy game vibe that makes it weirdly fit in here in 2025.
You play as a young Ecco or one of his two friends, another dolphin named Kitnee and an Orca named Tara. One day they decide to go visit a Great Blue, A Wise old Blue Whale. Along the way the trio help out other sea creatures. They all play the exact same way so who you wanna play as is completely up to you. I personally played as Tara the Orca for the majority of the game. There are 18 short levels where you either locate and guide other sea creatures to their destination or locate an item. And while the gameplay and story are nothing to call innovative I would say that this is the first Ecco game that made sense to me. It gives you clear cut instructions at the beginning of each level and using your sonar to locate your targets make the game easy, but far more enjoyable than the Ecco the Dolphin games that came before it.
If you want an afternoon of just some chill ocean exploration with a little dolphin and their 2 friends then I recommend giving it a try!
