With a lot of carriages, a LOOOOOOOT of horses, manage the supplies and equipment. They managed routes, trained kids at the same time. If they were so crazy and unstable as that, they would never have been able to hide and keep a caravan alive for so long. So yes, they may be a bit TOO emotional... But hey the life is hard, people vicious and Gezras """improved""" the mutations. But not bad, mad and cruel freely. They are not worse than Geralt, he kill a lot of innocent too (and perhaps more than the majority of Cats.)
It's like the Maelstrom gang from CP77, reputation says they are bad, so we think they are bad. No really, do you know how much it's hard to take care of horses ? (for me Cat school Witchers are horse lovers, and they are those who know best to take care of horsies).
