Too Long

Same old game

That HS crush hasn't really been talkative since we met up. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I've been down this road before. What a waste. Wish he would've been upfront instead of disappearing.

-changing careers from customer service to web design

-got over telling S I love him and him not responding. we haven't really talked about it

-working on a shop website for money 7 resume building

-still writing on my cute toy blog

-T came back into my life about 6 weeks ago-he's over in Afghanistan, married, and now has 4 kids. Wants to visit despite all that baggage

-attempting to fit in day job, web work, weight loss, and all my other interests

-getting ready for NYCC which is less than 2 months away

I just want to focus on work and making a brand for myself. I don't have the time or desire to be someone's side chick. I know I need to stop talking to T but it's hard not wanting to.

GREAT Weekend

I was at New York Comic Con this past weekend promoting my blog and hanging out with some cool people. I kept feeling like I had to switch from fan girl to aspiring blogger. But now since I know how a convention works, I can perfect my pitch and get more content to write about and more readers.

Now it's just the waiting game/getting back into the swing of things.

Deleting, Stalking, Working, & Dreaming

I was never able to delete phone numbers out of my contacts . Tonight I deleted 2 major ones from my past. One involves G, the other is T.

Is it crazy to keep tabs on people? Facebook makes it incredibly easy to find info on people. Like I found out why T disappeared-he got married to his son’s mother. I expected that to happen, but I’m skeptical that he’ll stay faithful to her. But it’s nice to see that he’s doing ok. I just hope he doesn’t screw it up-it’s not just him now if he fucks up. I also found out that J had another baby this past summer so now he has 4 kids. He also better not screw it all up.

My new job is going ok so far. I don’t mind coming in later in the day but I don’t like working in the evenings. This is going to be a major deal in the spring when I want to go back to school. But guess I’ll have to cross that bring when I get to it. In the meantime, I’m going to do my best to stick with this job. If not, I’ll continue to put in applications to other places. I hate the idea of jumping from one employer to another but I have to do what’s right for me so that I can achieve my dreams.

This guy at work saw my toy blog and asked me to help him with his website. This is a great opportunity so of course I have to take it. I need to complete my friend’s website first though. This way I’ll only be working on one site a time. This is just adding more experience to the web design resume.

As for the bartending, I’ve been slacking off. But I have been keeping in touch with one of my instructors. He says that the bar that he’s working out now will soon have training too and he said he can help me out in making a bartending resume.

For the first time in a long time, I'm happy with my life and excited to see what's next in store for me.

I'm hungry for more success. It's such a great feeling.
