Here’s my submission for the traditional landscape week. It’s really so lame and cliche it hurts to submit it. I feel like this is my first week of Intro to Photography again, but I guess that’s almost “traditional”? Anyway, There’s the sky, and the land, and the city in the distance.

Week 1: Self Portrait

I don’t remember what I said I would do last time with this blog, but now I’m going to post a photo a week for this 52 week challenge. I’m already late but I’ll get Week 2′s photo up by Friday.

Also, this is technically a bonus shot, but the real self portrait I’ve decided to keep to Facebook.

The last part of our group’s trip through Wales, doing some hiking. After this, off to Mainland Europe we went!

Myddfai, a place once known for its healers. It’s like Chinese herbal medicine, but the Welsh version. I read some books on it, interesting stuff if you’re into alternative medicine. Fun to read about a Western take on herbal medicine that was respected and implemented for a significant amount of time. And now, its making a small comeback with universities in the UK giving degrees in practicing this kind of medicine.
