i asked my mom last month to pick a sanrio character to vote for in the poll and she picked my sweet piano ‘because of her afro’ so i had to draw it

#gari draws #nintendo #smb #ume #warupeach #warueach #wapeach #i think she was born momotaro style but a plum so even smaller #but i have also considered like maybe she was a magical being born from peach constantly stuffing down her feelings #kept her ears covered bc its a mystery to everyone. even me. idk what her deal is there #whether she’s a real princess or not is disputed #but regardless she wants to usurp peach by beating her ass in sports #dont ask her how it’s going 💀#nobody takes her seriously unfortunately #she runs into wario and waluigi shortly after waluigi’s tennis debut and has been their problem ever since #(she sees them as her henchmen/subjects and they see her as an annoying kid that can occasionally be useful)#like for example her own ‘debut’#she enticed them with her scepter and claimed ability to offer buffs #i think it either went dimension d style or they accidentally played on the wrong side of the court #peach does get concerned about her from time to time but her efforts to help are viciously denied most of the time #pickles is her chain chomp she occasionally shrinks to use as a flail. not a reliable one but #originally for the name i was gonna go with boshi or zuke to complete umeboshi/umezuke before i just decided to go for the pickled plum #she does have a horrendous sweet tooth to the point where she makes things sweeter before she eats it but she also loves crazy sour things #duality of girl #uhhhh her cat form is based on a bobtail #tanooki is raccoon we’ve all seen that before #she was raised by some sort of grandparents that she no longer remembers #epitome of bossy with no power #enjoy

for this trans awareness week and beyond, please please please look out for trans women, disabled people, people of color, every trans person with intersectional identities that experiences multiple forms of marginalization. please, especially support the trans women in your neighborhoods and communities, online and in person.

and especially ESPECIALLY, do not overlook the trans women living in poverty. the trans women stuck in abusive situations. the physically and/or socially isolated trans women. the trans women of color. the disabled trans women. do not lose sight of their humanity, and do not let your discomfort at their hardships and struggles and traumas make you look away, and do not let them be thrown out on the streets to die begging for help with rent, groceries, medical care, hrt, and other basic needs.

ensuring safe housing, access to inclusive and informed medical care, to food and hrt and medications, to communities that can be trusted to stand by your side in hard times and to fight against violence and injustice, is trans suicide prevention. it is trans murder prevention. it is trans death prevention.

we must actively do what our governments and oppressors refuse to do, for each other. trans survival is a bare minimum that is unfortunately rarely met at all. trans joy need not be lofty, unobtainable, gatekept states of being; we have to look out for each other and make it happen. we have to give flowers before the trans women we only quietly think about, and never boldly openly support, disappear to poverty and violence. we have to help each other keep living until we're able to thrive.

for this trans awareness week and beyond, please help me and my wife stay housed. we've been without gainful employment for a few months and our savings have been depleted, leading to us falling behind on rent. my wife's had to give up renewing her hrt prescription, far too soon right after getting it. we're both some form of disabled and i am housebound due to increasingly severe me/cfs and other painful disruptive health issues. this all has been negatively impacting our mental and emotional and physical health.
