It was as clear as day to see that she was no longer mad at him, or at least not at the same degree as before. She was too easy and too predictable, but it was cute, maybe. He understood that the situation at hand was a lot to take in, thus what she should be doing is trying to relax instead of tense up. The only normalcy he could provide for her to help aid that, would to be himself, whether that made her smile or irritated… well that wasn’t completely his fault. It was up to her to decide how to take his words and actions.

“Adults don’t exactly play fair to begin with." Some true words spoken by the usual teasing man, he was serious every now and then.  He pat her on the head, he really was glad that she was alright though. "You’ll grow into a fine one eventually." He let the words slip, secretly from his mouth. Hakka was quite pouty at the moment, so there was a high chance she wasn’t paying too close attention.

“As for my partner, it sounds like you’re trying to put a curse on me. What a jealous one you are, aren’t you?” He didn’t really pay much mind to the whole partner system in this place. Whether they shared what he did or not, it mattered little. His only partner would be Hakka.

Every word that came out of his mouth just annoyed her even more. She didnt want to be upset, she didn't want to feel like this at all. But it looked like all their interactions ended up in this manner. And he always seemed to have the upper hand. In truth, it was all her fault. If she could hide her feelings better and act more stoic, she could stand on equal grounds as him. But she wasn't the type to hold back or pretend she's alright wiht something when really she is not.

"Yeah, yeah..." He really was unfair. Just because he was older, he could say whatever he wanted and act all high and mighty and mature. She wasn't a child at all but, in his eyes, maybe she really was. Unluckily for him, she didn't hear that last part he almost whispered; otherwise she would've acted differently from that point on and actually be nice. Then again, with what he said next, there was a chance that would've been pointless since she was now upset again.

"I-I'm not jealous at all! Why would I even be jealous in the first place?!" A little louder than she expected it but she couldn't really control her tone. "Y-You're the jealous one! Im sure you won't even let my partner get close to me...!" Aaaah, she said too much. She stopped talking and looked away. The way the conversation was going, she was going to end up either confessing or implying that he had feelings for her -- which she wasn't even sure of. Well, more like she was about 90% sure that he felt nothing for her.He probably only saw her like a little sister... She didn't want to talk about partners and what not. She didn't like where this was going.

　　　　　☾; —　It wouldn’t be the first time Hakudoshi had ventured into unfamiliar territory. Before, there wasn’t a space in his mind that wasn’t occupied with where exactly did he go? and who brought him here? As far as he knew, before this instant, he’d been dead. Now, Passing by the first person to stop and send a glance his way, his full attention was diverted to the young girl.

　　　”What’s the matter, miss?” He mentioned in a mocking tone, ”Is there, perhaps, something on my face?”　—; ∞

She almost jumped when he suddenly talked to her. But that was to be expected since she was, well, staring at him. "O-Oh, no! I'm sorry!" She quickly apologized, bowing several times. "I-I was just, hum, admiring your hair!" Which was the truth actually, but it still sounded like a really stupid excuse.

What a temper she had really, but he supposed, that was something that made her a bit cute. Just a little bit, that he would never tell her about. Well, at least it turned out that he had gotten rid of the first page fast enough, which is why she was throwing a bit of a tantrum to begin with. He would have responded to her, but with her back facing him, it would be a little difficult for her to read his words. And now that she was being stubborn, there was really only one way to get her to listen to him. With a few steps, he had reached her side, lightly turned her around, and kissed her.

As per usual, the Reparting didn’t take too long to activate, his kigurumi form being replaced to show his human self. “Really, a woman shows more patience and elegance, this is why you’re only a brat." He just couldn’t stop making jabs at her, could he? "Whomever your partner is, I feel bad for them. The only one who can put up with you is me, after all.”

She was about to take a step forward and leave when he suddenly showed up on her field of vision and quickly enclosed the distance between them, with a kiss. In the blink of an eye, his kigurumi form had changed to his human one; and her previously annoyed expression turned into a blushing one. Of all things, why did he have to do that right now? She was angry at him yet he was still treating her like a child. And he was even mocking her! Not that any of this was new, since he always acted like that. But still!

She sighs, her head hung down and her gaze fixated on the ground beneath her. "You're unfair." And he really was. In just a matter of seconds, he previous rage had subsided and she was starting to calm down. Although she was still annoyed. "I'm not a brat. And I'm not a woman either. It's not like I don't know that." She was just 14 after all. He was much older than her but that didn't give him the right to call her a brat. It kind of hurt her feelings.

"I'm sure they'll be nicer than you at least. You're the only one who treats me like this anyway." Thinking about the whole partner thing wasn't something she wanted to do; but she couldn't help but do it. She didn't want to have a partner with whom she shared her feelings and sensations. She didn't want to hung around someone she knew nothing about. She was fine just the way she was before. And even more than that, she didn't want to be away from Ginger. "In fact, I feel worse for your partner. I hope you get someone who's 100 times more annoying than me."

He couldn’t help but sigh at this situation.

Had the enemy caught them off guard? He doubted it. Whatever was going on here, it was a whole ‘nother power that he knew nothing about. Annoying. When he didn’t know something as important like this, he either let it go or he let it annoy him. Unfortunately, it was the latter as he decided to wander around aimlessly, trying to blow off some steam with light exercise.

Perhaps the worst part was that he didn’t have her with him. It wasn’t that he cared if he remained in kigurumi form or not, and he could still fight like this as well(if just less efficiently), but there was another reason. Not that he would admit it to her face or otherwise, he had grown quite fond of her. And who knows what kind of trouble she would end up in without him.

It was just a little…

worrying. However, while these thoughts were going through his head, he imagined what she would be like once she realized he had disappeared. Ah yes, it was so clear that it was as if she was really nearby saying his name—-wait a minute.

Turning around, he found that it really was her, which meant they were both in this strange situation together. Well, he couldn’t exactly say if he was glad or upset, but he can go with the former for now.

[Hakka! I’m so glad you’re sa-] He quickly threw that piece of paper away before she could see it.

[Well, if it isn’t the brat, so they brought you here too?] Smooth.

The girl's worried face soon turned into a smile once she reached him and stood right in front of the kigurumi-- man, I mean. She was so glad he was here, that she wasn't alone here, that he wasn't alone back at their world. Tears began to form in her eyes but they quickly dried once she read his words, and her happy expression from before transformed into a pout. "I'm not a brat! How mean can you be?!" Wasn't he relieved he found her so quickly? That they were together? He was acting just as usual, as if the whole situation didn't faze him at all. Unbelievable.

"You're an idiot." She sighs and turns away from him, arms crossed in front of her chest. Really, he didn't even seem to care about her or about his own condition. She was scared, being here all alone but specially being without him; and yet he was just fine. Well, two could play that game. She was fine on her own too, wasn't she? She makes up her mind and glances over at him, before turning back once more. "I-I'm going to find my partner." Yes, that's it. She can go do that and he can just stay there and think about what he did.

Just a couple of hours had passed since she had awoken in this strange place and she was already dying to go home. For a minute, she thought it was all a prank played by their enemy. But things felt way too real for that; and the burning sensation on her wrist was far too real as well. She wasn't in an illusion world. Everything that was happening was really happening. And she was terrified. No matter how you looked at it, the young girl was shaking so much you wondered how she was still standing up. Hakka wasn't a coward, it wasn't that; it was simply the result of an overwhelming feeling of powerlessness. She couldn't do anything. She couldn't leave, she couldn't fight whoever it was that had trapped her there, she couldn't even help everyone else around her. And there were so, so many people here. After she exited the building where she was before, she crossed paths with so many different people, she wondered how powerful the one responsible for this was.

She sighed.

It hadn't been long since she started walking but she quickly reached a garden, a beautifully decorated garden where she could sit down and rest. She wasn't exactly tired physically; it was more mental than anything. She couldn't stop thinking about how to get out, how to go back to where she belonged; and she couldn't stop thinking about that one person.

Perhaps it was fate that she looked up as she thought about him; or perhaps it was just another prank. However, the truth was that she saw him. She saw him standing right there, at the edge of the garden. It was really him, with that unmistakable black and white cow-shaped kigurumi... It was--

"G-Ginger...!" Her voice was weak, but quickly gained more strenght as she got up. "Ginger!" And she ran towards him as fast as she possibly could.

The facility was certainly crawling with strange-looking people but... Aparently there were some normal, and even hot, looking guys. She'd just found one actually. A brown-haired young man, who was probably around her age. She was going to strike a conversation! "H-Hello there!"

This place wasn't exactly normal, nor were the people here. It didn't even feel like Japan anymore. And it probably wasn't. Everyone here was strange, in some way or the other. So when she crossed paths with the albino boy, she couldn't help but stare.

At last, someone who looked decent! And normal! What a miracle. Maybe she could trust this one. "H-Hello... Can you help me?"

She had just arrived but everything was so confusing she just couldn't help but wander around without looking at where she was going exactly. And, inevitably, she ended up bumping into someone. "E-E-Excuse me!!"
