When I was younger, during that time I was writing that darn delinquents x reader fanfic, I imagined Shoku Tsuburaya as 1: Amai's cousin. 2: NOT Amai's love interest. 3: yandere for the reader. For no apparent reason. No explanation whatsoever.

I like the positive feedback don flamenco gives Mac when they're fighting. I feel like he'd make a good mentor. Pretty supportive, likes teaching. Maybe if he retires from boxing and doesn't want to go back to bullfighting, he could be a coach or teach boxing.

General Super Macho Man HCs!!

Now, if it wasn't obvious before, Super Macho Man was born rich. And I mean, really rich.

Both of his parents are incredibly wealthy and famous. Well, they actually they were.. infamous. His dad owns the Punch Out Universe equivalent to Blackrock and is genuinely responsible for global warming in-universe, while his mom is a republican (scary).

Growing up, Macho got whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted it. Whether it was a pony, wardrobes worth of new clothes, an extension on the house, an ENTIRELY NEW house, he got it, no questions asked.

One time, he asked his parents for a horse racing stadium, complete with horses and food stands, just for him. Literally nobody except for him, his family and the workers were allowed in there and his parents always rigged the races so Macho would feel proud of himself for always picking the winning horse.

When he got tired of it (like he eventually does with everything), his parents opened it to the public and it actually became quite popular. He now constantly brags about the fact that he caused it to be built and and how he 'contributed so much to the economy' (he has no idea what that means).

But despite their generosity, Macho’s parents were kind of.. neglectful. Emotionally, I mean.

They never talked to him. They were always out, or they were busy with work, or they just straight-up ignored him.

This gave Macho an intense desire to be the ‘best’, so his parents would actually acknowledge him, even if it came at others’ expense.

Was definitely the popular jock in Highschool, 100% played American football and dated all of the cheerleaders. (Probably at the same time.)

Also shoved nerds into lockers semi-frequently.

Literally the stereotypical 'Hey nerd! Do my math homework!' type of bully.

Almost got kicked off of the team multiple times because he NEVER studied for anything and got atrocious grades (except in PE, where he only got A+).

Even though his parents hired the most expensive tutors and got him extra classes to improve his grades, he just skipped them and went off doing whatever.

Because of all of this, he was forced to do mountains of extra credit work (actually he paid all of the nerds in class to do it for him) and even then he barely graduated.

Despite all of this , he still fantasises about his high school years to this day, affirms they were the 'best years of his life' and has tried to re-enroll at least twice in the past few years.

The only reason he even entered college was for the frats and Greek life, and all of the parties and connections that come with it.

Did one of those bullshit business degrees, where his GPA was genuinely 0.0

Macho's 'big break' (or rather solo debut, given he was already sort of famous because of his parents) was on the show 'Chains of Love', where he was chained to three other people and made to live life like normal.

Unsurprisingly, his idiotic, loud, and obnoxious personality was a smash hit among audiences, who saw him as a figure they loved to hate.

This lead to him going on a few more shows and even hosting some himself (none of which were very good).

All the while, Macho had discovered and was growing his passion for.. professional wrestling?

Yes, Macho wanted to be a wrestler at first. He liked all of the flashy moves, costumes and, to be honest, the violence too.

He was utterly devastated upon discovering it was (mostly) fake, like he REALLY wanted to beat people up for real.

Luckily for him, the executives at the WVBA had seen his various escapades on TV and, for some godforsaken reason, saw potential.

The minute they could, they sent Macho a message, offering him an audition or something (which macho instantly accepted)

As expected, Macho completely smashed the audition (as in, he smashed a poor guy’s face in so horrifically that he had to be rushed to hospital). He was just as stupid, egotistical, and asshole-ish as the WVBA big wigs had hoped for and they signed him up on the spot.

And thus, Super Macho Man was born. He quickly shot up to the World Circuit ranks (he 100% did not EVER pay somebody to let him win, nuh uh, no way, not ever..) where he has stayed ever since.

In his time in the boxing world, Macho has had at least 24 different accusations of steroid usage from various sources, each mysteriously being recanted after a nice lump sum was deposited into the accuser’s bank account.

Macho has also gotten himself into copious amounts of relationship drama. (Are you even surprised?) In almost every issue of those trashy celebrity tabloids, there is at least one story about Macho being seen/photographed with a new girl (or multiple girls at the same time!!), even if he was seen with a different girl last week!

There was this one time where Macho was photographed with 5 different women in the same night, the scandal shook the earth and his partner at the time (who, to add insult to injury, was NOT one of five girls he was photographed with) sued him for emotional damages.

Literally everyone clowns on him for this, Aran has taken to calling him ‘Super Syphilis Man’ (like he’s any better, but anyways-)

As much as he vehemently denies it, Macho has had plastic surgery. Those cheekbones are NOT real, and his forehead, cheek, and chin fillerare currently migrating to god knows where. You can see it, it’s painfully obvious, but he and all of his associates just deny, deny, deny.

People have also made petitions to ban Macho from boxing entirely as he apparently has a facelift and that gives him a competitive advantage (the filler absorbs the shocks from punches)

His skin and hair are also incredibly (almost unbelievably) damaged from his excessive ‘beauty regimes’.

He once stayed in a tanning bed for an hour and twenty minutes (an hour over the max recommended time) and came out looking like an overcooked turkey on Thanksgiving. His managers had to force him to get a skin cancer screening (which he thankfully passed somehow).

He is now ‘banned’ from tanning beds, all of the tanning salons in his area are greatly discouraged from letting him in (but Macho pays them too much for them to care, so they let him in anyway).

Don’t even get me started on this man’s hair. It’s like he stole some hay, spraypainted it white, and gorilla glued it onto his head. He has bleached it an ungodly number of times, to try and get it ‘platinum platinum’ (whatever that means)

I know it’s a popular headcanon that Macho isn’t actually 27 and that he’s faking his age, but I personally think that Macho is exactly the age he says he is. It’s just that the plastic surgery, skin damage, and bright white hair make him look significantly older than he actually is.

Macho’s ‘true age’ is also a popular conspiracy theory in universe, a lot of his haters like to say he’s ‘57 not 27’

Macho tries to curate an image of him being a ‘surfer dude’ (the long hair, the speedo, the lack of clothing in general), but neglects to mention the fact that he cannot surf… nor swim at a decent level at all. He can get into the pool and float just fine, he's had lots of practice at his own pool, but anything other than that is a complete disaster.

He has almost drowned on multiple occasions (mostly because of him trying to prove that he can actually swim/surf before failing miserably). Aran, Sandman, and even Joe have had to fish him out (without a single ‘thank you’, mind)

If it wasn’t obvious before, Macho hates work of any kind. He likes working out (and making out, haha) but as soon as you ask him to do something simple like take out the trash or rinse out his cup after he uses it, he outright refuses.

The only thing preventing him from living in absolute squalor is his poor, overworked team of cleaners.

Truly, the only good thing about Macho’s entire existence is how many people he has employed. This man cannot do anything for himself, he has chefs, accountants, gardeners, stylists, people who buy groceries for him, and, of course, managers for all of those people. It’s a genuine shock that he doesn’t have people that wipe his ass when he takes a shit. His home is like a hotel with one guest, him.

Okay, actually.. Macho doesn’t hate EVERY kind of work, just most kinds.

The only thing he does that would be considered a job (apart from boxing) is doing ads and stuff for TV.

Macho LOVES being on TV, he’s told people that seeing himself on the big screen is what gets him up in the morning.

He’s been in many a movie and show (although lots of them are not so good).

Usually, if he is casted in a movie, he’s casted as himself and the director just tells him to ‘act like himself’ (which results in poor acting)

Does Macho even have any good traits? I don’t know, maybe? If he does, he sure as hell doesn’t let them show.

…But I suppose that his friendships with the other boxers reveal a nice thing or two, if you squint.

He happily distracts the press and paparazzi from Bald Bull and Sandman when they don’t feel like getting their pictures taken (which is like, all of the time).. And I guess that he donates a few tidbits to charity now and again.

I just think Macho desperately needs to work on himself, if he doesn't want everyone to remember him as a huge dickhead.

I’m finally back after all this time :D

I’m so sorry about the century long hiatus, I’ve been really busy with school and I genuinely lost the motivation to write anything ;-;

Sometimes I feel kinda bad because I feel punch out characters wouldn't be as nice people as I wish they were. Like, I'm not saying they'd all be nazis obviously but like. Realistically they wouldn't be "the woker", you know?

For example, Don Flamenco (he's my fav so I feel the need to use him).

First off, he's from Spain. probably would subconsciously be kinda racist towards Muslims and latin Americans. Like. Type of guy to grab his bag tighter around them or something.

Second, he's a bull fighter that once sent a bull flying with a right hook. Would not care much for animalist movements and would probably play deaf when told a bull doesn't deserve to be tortured and then killed for human entertainment.

Third, and this is kind of a stretch, people who grew up engaging in hobbies traditional to their country tend to have traditional views because of the environment they grew up in. My point is that he definitely lets out accidentally misogynistic comments and could have internalized homophobia.

Now this last point could be disproven by the fact he goes emo and does his eyeliner when Carmen leaves him, and I'm not sure that's something a conservative Spanish man would do.... Or whatever the fuck he has going on with that stance I mean look at him. but I'm still gonna put it here.

I don't think that's all he has to be obviously. For starters, not all Spanish people have the same beliefs and not all of them have stereotypes of others in their head. Not all of them are that stereotype. I'm just basing these things on the things I see in real people with similar backgrounds. And also it's totally fine if you headcanon him as a bisexual icon who'd have a relationship with Aran Ryan or something. Nothing's set in stone as long as the creators don't explicitly say something. We can all have fun and imagine them as whatever we want.

My favorite thing is watching people (both fictional characters and real life people) change their views for the better. Meeting so many competent boxers from all over the world, whose nationalities have nothing to do with their personalities or abilities could change his views. Maybe after leaving bullfighting he can look back and realize the damage he's done on those animals. I sure do hope Carmen beat his ass and he learnt they're not oh so delicate flowers that should stay in submissive roles.

I don't know I like thinking about the more 'realistic' parts of their personalities. I like imagining them in the real world, as people I'd meet walking down the street.

But then again this is a guy that sent a bull flying with a single punch, there's no need for realism here lol

dispatch hc 2: Punch Up is a wife guy

I don't think Coupé would like the idea of marriage even if they hadn't broken up, but I feel like he'd still be a wife guy. Like, often says he won't go somewhere because he got plans with her, misses her when they're apart for too long and goes gloomy, complains about it to whoever unlucky enough to be in the room. He also buys a ton of things that remind him of her, which can be delicate swan thingies or black flowers. Also has learnt to like watching ballet only because it carries an elegance and skill he relates to her.

dispatch headcanon: Sonar is stinky

As in, his fur smells like wet dog when wet.

He used to get teased for it when younger, and now he's hyper aware of his smell.

Which is why he avoids physical contact with Waterboy like the plague. He also will pull the most amount of excuses possible before water-related missions.

Uses pet-shampoo. The expensive one for rich folks' fat cats. He likes his fur smelling clean and fluffy.

The human part gets bar dehodorant that is special for his pH.

He also uses an annoying amount of expensive men's cologne. Malevola has to physically snatch the bottle off his hand sometimes.
