About me
Call me Gio. I'm 30-ish, leo, she/her, infp-t. English is not my first language, so I apologize for making grammar mistakes. I like to talk in tags. I do have a masterlist but I haven't written in a really long time. We can talk about anything but my apologies in advance for any late replies.
About this blog
This blog is mainly for my utter obsession with Anime, Manga, Video Games, and anything Japan has made. But sometimes I just reblog random things. Also, you're going to see a lot of selfship here.
Everything is tagged. It helps if you're looking for something specific or want to block any topic.
Are you watching the Twisted Wonderland anime? I've been watching it in Japanese because the voices are more familiar, but I watched the English dub and your man Kalim's voice is so good 🥰
KIKI!! MY BELOVED!! 🩵🩵
Yes! I'm not completely on board with the MC selection, I was low-key expecting femboy but the animation is beautiful!! I'm watching it in Japanese, and I'm really enjoying the ending of Riddle, he looks so fine 😍
I suddenly got the urge to write. I know is bad. This was extremely self-indulgent, but hope you enjoy it.
Summary: You like Tendou, Tendo likes Ushijima, and Ushijima likes you. That's it.
It started as another normal day at school.
"He has a beautiful form."
"So beautiful..." you heard him whisper behind you, and suddenly something clicked in your brain. The way his eyes always sparkle when he sees the ace playing, how his tone of voice comes softer when they talk to each other, how he always seems interested in everything he has to say (even if it's nothing), how energetic he looks when Ushijima praises one of his plays. Every moment came rushing to your mind and started connecting with one another. A painful sting stabbed your chest as the realization came to you.
Tendou likes Ushijima, you thought, feeling a knot in your throat.

"You look upset," straightforward, just like his spikes. Ushijima stands before you, leaving his bag on the floor next to him. After practice, everyone always rushes to their room or the cafeteria. But not him. For some reason that you don't totally understand, he decides to wait for you to finish your manager's tasks instead of going to rest like the others. He sits next to you, watching you write the results of today's physical tests with too much force that the words indent the next pages.
"It's nothing," you reply, too depressed to even try to deny it. You know it isn't his fault, and you shouldn't take it out on him, but seeing him all calm and attentive makes your heart ache. Mr. Perfect Captain, you thought, shaking your head. "Some girly problems. You don't have to worry about, cap".
"If you're upset, that can affect the team. Is there anything I can help with?" he sounds genuine, and it exasperates you even more. Nothing can be done. Especially not from you, you wanted to say, but you knew it would only raise more questions. If you have learned something over the past years as a manager of the Shiratorizawa volleyball team is that, with Ushijima at least, you need to be clear and direct.
"Not really. I just found out that the guy I like likes someone else," you explain. Although your voice sounds calm, he notices how your hand keeps applying too much force on the paper, and your eyes are intentionally avoiding him. "It happens sometimes,"
An awkward silence stays between you two as you continue writing as fast as you can.
"Well, that sucks," he finally says. He had heard someone say it once and thought it was a good moment to repeat it, but you couldn't help to laugh at how anticlimactic those words sounded coming from the stoic Ushijima.
"Yeah... but it's not that bad," you try to sound convincing, but more to yourself than to him. "I mean, it's not like he said I'm ugly or that he hates me. It's just that I'm not his type".
You finish your paperwork and start packing when you notice Ushijima looking intensely at you. After knowing him for so long, you know he's trying to find the right words. You are curious about what he thinks, but at the same time, you want to change the topic.
"It's not possible that anyone would not like you," he sounds deadly serious, but you haven't recovered yet from your self-rejection, so you can't help laughing out loud.
"Yeah, right," you grabbed your things and started walking through the exit. "I can think of at least ONE person who doesn't like me."
You didn't sound mad anymore, but defeated, and that gave Ushijima hope. Maybe he still has a chance.
