#AW169 #Design #Moodboard. We use cross-pollination to fuel our innovation, from architecture to art. We love creation and in particular for this project we looked at the works of #OlivoBarbieri, #JamesTurrell, #AlvaroSiza, #Valentino, #CarineRoitfeld, #ThomasScottBaldwin and #LizDeschenes.

Composing composites. Here Cristiana is working on revealing some of the amazing composite materials within the various functions integrated into interior cabin walls of the #AW169 #helicopter. The result is a mix of function and aesthetics emphasised with a led backlit layer.

Our scale 1:1 ergonomic mock-up of the #AW169 #helicopter cabin interior to test out our seating plans and check our ergonomic data. Interaction is fundamental in confined spaces so proxemics and eye contact were studied at every step of concept development.

Our lightweight upholstered armchair #design. Inspired by the #diesel #ducati, we have cross-pollinated a #bergère with a #titanium structure and #carbonfibre shell. We have tried to domesticate a high performance structure for an augmented #helicopter #flying #experience.
