well , it was a given that i was going to be accepted really - given the fact that i’m a legacy. uhmm but i told keating , my father & my grandparents.

once , during a séance a famous celebrity reached out to me & told me something about their death - they basically told us that what we know about them is a lie. i was planning on letting the world know - but who would believe me?

When it came to people she cared about, it was hard for Rey to get angry at them for long - and besides, it’s not like Giovanna was at fault either. If anything, Rey was thankful that the other even bothered to stick around while she studied. “Okay, but you’re driving because I don’t trust myself behind the wheel right now.” Being sleep deprived and needing to drive was the worst feeling ever. “Is your car nearby? If not, then we’ll take mine.” She spoke as she started to walk towards the exit.

the girls face lit up at the thought of getting up from the seat that she had been sitting in for the passed few hours. “ yes of course , come on ... i need to get out of here. ” she replied , hanging her bag over her arm and taking out her bug sunglasses to put on her head. “ yeah , she’s outside -- and im willing to lift the now food & drink rule , just for you. ” she replied with a teasing wink as she extended her arm for rey to link.

Josephine threw her head back as she laughed, the bright sound filling the air. She gently kicked the other girl, laughing even harder as she watched some man get absolutely slammed into the counter. “Apologies, I forgot that you were the paragon of virtue,” she remarked sarcastically. She flicked her fingers, and with a quick spell sent someone who had gotten too close to their table back into the fray. “We’re gonna have to tip the bartender… they definitely don’t get paid enough to deal with this shit.”

“ of course i am & you should hold me in such high regard , because i am a fucking angel. ” she joked , as she give a click of her tongue - both of them knowing that what she had just said was so far from the truth that it was laughable. watching the other cast another spell , she looked down at the beer in her hands as a laugh that she could no longer hold in , escaped her lips. “ oh they bring it on themselves , they know what working in a bar entails..” she replied , lifting the bottle to her lips to take a long sip.

“yeah, well magic can do that. drain you.. he replied, still holding onto her hand as he started to walk out of the room. magic sometime was all consuming on everyone’s energy, that’s why keating preferred doing anything during particular phases of the moon. “have you tried a full moon?” he asked, not thinking much of the fact that her hand was still in his. it was almost as if it belonged there. “if not, try this.” he turned his body towards her,  stopping himself in the middle of the hallway as she pulled herself together.  “come back here during a full moon. all of our abilities are heightened then, correct?” his eyes found hers, giving her hand a light squeez.  “i’ll come back with you if you want, but i won’t go with you.” that was a moment that she had to have alone, but he would be there to hold her hand, if she asked.  keating shook his head at the mention of prue, the way she explained things usually gave him a headache which led him to walk away. “oh, and remind me to get you a glass of milk..”  

as he mentioned the moon , gigi gave a sigh - she knew that she stood more of a chance of succeeding during a full moon , but something had been happening lately that had forced her to bring her practices forward. she brushed her hand nervously over her arm as she considered not bringing it up. & it was at that point she realised that her hand was still in his - it made her smile for a moment. but not telling him about this would be pointless , as keating could read her like a book. “ i’ve been having the dreams again . ” every few months , she would have the reoccurring dream of her mother asking her to go back , go back to the place that at all began .  these dreams would keep her up at night & if she didn’t try and go back ,  it would eat her up inside. as he began to explain his plan , she nodded her head in agreement - he was right , it was no use doing it if they were not at their most powerful. she tucked her hair behind her ear and gave him a warm smile - she would just have to get something from prue to help her sleep. “ thank you ... ” she added softly , her eyes still locked on his.

“sorry to disappoint, sweetheart.” elias closed the door behind him, he was sure to flick the lock with a tilt of his head – he did his best to keep the acts of magic under wraps most always. he wasn’t hiding his powers from anyway, far from it, he just didn’t see the fun in flaunting something that was so much more interesting to use to his advantage in very particular situations. “though this is not the first time i’ve been compared to satan and i’m sure it won’t be the last.”

the brunette buried her face in her hands and gave a heavy sigh , but when she heard the familiar voice, she lifted her head and gave him an exhausted smile. “ you never disappoint me , e. ” she replied lazily , her while body starting to tremble - which she did her best to hide. she unfolded her legs & stretched them out in front of her - giving a laugh in response to his words. “ you compared to satan? ” she responded . “ oh querida ,  you don’t have his smile. ”   she teased.

“obrigado…” he replied, when they were younger, and while dating, keating had taken the time to learn portuguese – for her, and for the rest of her family. he told himself it was mainly because you never knew who you were going to meet, but while carrying a slight truth to it, giovanna was the main reason.  a smile on his lips. for a brief second, his eyes scanned her face. the way she looked at him, the way his heart felt when he looked at her,  he swallowed back hard, clearing his throat.  “you know what’s going to give you more energy?” he spoke, standing up and grabbing her hand to pull her up with him. “you eating. ramen.  how long have you been here anyway?” the young man looked around the raven practice room, a secret to those who weren’t part of ragsdill.  “give yourself a break, yes? please..” he never said please.  “and then maybe…maybe.. i’ll come back and help.” 

the sound of him speaking her own language was enough to make the smile that was already on her face widen - he didn’t need to learn portuguese - but he did & she admired him so much for that. she talked herself into thinking that it wasn’t just for her , it made their break up that little bit easier to cope with. their eyes locked for one moment , it was a fleeting moment , but a moment none the less & it felt like they were back in high school again , back when it was just them & only them that mattered. it was such a weird feeling as it was melancholy but enjoyable too. his words brought her back into the room , making a laugh escape her lips. “ id argue with you , but you’re right -- this burns right through my energy just as much as an hour at the gym would. ” she answered with a sigh before giving a shake of her head and a shrug of her shoulders in response to his message. “ no idea , i lose track of time in this room - if i didn’t know better i’d say that this room was in some kind of alternate universe where time never passes...” she replied. “ wow , now im starting to sound like prue...” she added with another laugh. she allowed herself to be helped up to her feet with his aid , before brushing down her jumper dress. “ deal..” she simply stated. with his help, she was certain that it would work.

gigi often gets bored with her appearance. so much so that she is known to change her hair up from time to time. she changes the colour, they style & the length ( sometimes as often as each week ).  of course , she uses her magic to do this - just like in that scene from the craft.

“i’ll tell him you send your regards,” said the non-believer as he leaned against the door frame, arms crossed in front of him. there was  a smirk on his lips, simply not caring that he interrupted her doing practice. time was of the essence and simply put, she could practice any other time. “get up, castro..” he told her, admittedly, the only person he could ever bother like this was giovanna. hell, she was the only the person he could do a lot with, probably even waste some time for, listen to.  “want to go get something to eat?” he asked, pushing himself off the wall and walking towards her. he crouched down, an eyebrow arched as he looked down at her. “you’re going to get it…when the time is right…” he told her, aware that she was astral projecting, and something told him he knew of the time too, probably something having to do with her mother, except he wouldn’t push on it, it wasn’t his right to know anymore. “so, hungry?”

when she heard the familiar & comforting voice , gigi opened her eyes to greet him with an exhausted smile. this astral projection takes it out of her , to the point that she didn’t know if she could stand up for a while. if it was any one else interrupting her ,she would have hit the roof & go off on them in portuguese. but because it was keating , it almost brought her comfort that he was here with her ,something she always felt around him. whether that was magic or not , she had never been able to tell. “ yeah , i could go for some ramen .... ” she said , her voice slightly shaky as she watched him approach her. his words filled her with hope, he was the only one who believed her ( apart from her brother ) the only one who always supported her no matter what. “ thank you , amor. ” she replied , her hands clenching beside her to stop herself from reaching out to cup his cheek. “ it helps when i have another person with me , i need more energy .... ” she said , in an almost persuading tone , before extending her arm for him to help her stand up.

“Oh, were you trying to be subtle? Because I don’t think it worked.” She laughed as she rested her chin on a hand. “Gi, you literally doodled and made the doodle dance around for a bit. I don’t know what else that could be besides boredom.” Deciding to save her friend from being trapped here a bit longer, Rey started packing up her things. “Alright, let’s do something else before my next class. You pick. My brain is literally too dead to think right now.” 

“ sorry rey , i didn’t want to distract you from studying. ”   she replied honestly , slumping down into her seat & giving her the puppy dog eyes. she wanted to hang out with her once she was finished - but she regretted not bringing her own homework to keep her occupied too. “ oh you saw that? ” she asked with a laugh , using her hands to cover her face. “ let’s go get some food , go for a drive somewhere picturesque to eat and just -- relax , free your mind. yeah? ”

A matching smirk spread across her face as she sat up, shaking her head as she did so. “I would never object to your company, Gi,” she remarked as she popped a fry into her mouth. She pushed the plate into the space between them, nodding at it silently. Beer was great, but beer with fries was better. Speaking of fries… wings sounded good. Wings sounded really fucking good.

Slowly she leaned back, watching the intense fight taking place on the other side of the grill. She couldn’t help but chuckle as someone’s glass went flying, before letting out a small hiss of sympathetic pain as some boy’s head got slammed against the counter. She nudged the other girl slightly before inclining her head towards the fight. “Your doing?”

“ even if you did , i wouldn’t take no for an answer. ” she teased, with a click of her tongue before pulling out the stool to take a seat. watching as she slid the plate of fries over -- she gave a greedy grin, before taking one and popping it into her mouth. “ thanks babes. ” she added , taking a long sip of her beer. her eyes followed josephine’s , before her lips pulled into a smirk as she realised when she what her friend was watching. her question made her laugh, but when she turned around to face her friend again, she gave her a look of feigned shock. “ moi? ” she asked , in a high pitched voice. “ why would you think such a thing? ”

   sat in the middle of one of the music practice rooms ,  her eyes closed and her legs crossed - gigi had everything she needed for her practice laid out perfectly in front of her. astral projection , something that she had been trying to perfect for years - she could do it in certain situations , but the one time that she wanted to go back to , just wasn’t working out. if anyone asked though , she was meditating. she could feel it, the sensation of floating - looking down at her own body , the whirring of her consciousness about to escape to the time & place that she was so desperate to visit --- until a beam of sunlight creaked through the door way as the door to the practice room opened & she came crashing back down to reality. “ pelo amor de satanás ” she muttered under her breath.   @pennbstart​

The Knucklehead Bar & Grill always got a lot of foot traffic on Friday nights, and so it was always abnormally crowded. But— it also had the best burgers in the area, and it had been what Josephine had been craving. She popped a fry into her mouth, watching the people around her before reaching out and muttering a quick spell as she touched an abandoned handbag— bare arms, lips on necks, the bathrooms in the freshman dorms— Josephine quickly retracted her hand. A freshman’s handbag. She crinkled her nose in disgust. She had not wanted to see that.

She locked eyes with another student, and after a moment she slowly removed her feet from the chair near her. Her gaze flickered from the other person to the now vacant chair, back up to the other person. “The chair is yours, if you need it.”

it was not a surprise to see the grill this packed, especially on a friday night - so why she still attempted to come at that time of evening and find a free table was beyond her , and yet she still did it. armed with a beer in hand , she pushed her way through the crowds of mostly obnoxious students - she was getting really annoyed that they were either barging passed her or refusing to let her pass , that she lost control & with a delicate flick of her head and without an incantation she made a guy fall into another guy that started a fight which amused her & cleared her path at the same time , bonus.  as she passed a table , she felt the hair on her arms stand on edge - which meant that someone was doing magic. with a quick look over her shoulder , her eyes fell upon josephine & a smirk spread across her lips. “ would you object to the company? ”

“I’ll take a break after?” She offered as if that was some sort of compromise. “Like ..during the weekend or something.” Taking the moment, her eyes roamed over her friend, “Mm.. were you bored?” Rey eventually asked after realizing that she had been the only one studying until now - the other was either passing time or keeping her company… or both. “Did you want to do something other than watch me complain about my sleep deprivation?”

“ as long as you do -- you’ll end up burning yourself out otherwise & you might start making mistakes without realising. ” she replied , as she began to rock back and forth on her chair - she’d been told time after time not to do this , she never listened - she didn’t listen to anyone. the next question caught her off guard  “ ... what , uh -- sorry , was it obvious? ” she asked , resting her head on her hand.

“… Right.” She stopped wondering whether or not the other was telling the truth. They weren’t her grades anyways. Realistically, her grades weren’t going to help her in the future, but her family was a prideful bunch. Having anything to boast about was apparently necessary to her parents. “If I was willing to spend a few more years than I need to, I would probably give myself a less crammed schedule.” She groaned, “I’m regretting but also not regretting everything.”

the raven haired girl closed the book over and slid it away from her , she dropped her head & stared up at the ceiling - she was so bored of this place. she was bored of the dull walls , the grey skies & the same faces. “ one day off wouldn’t hurt though right? ” she suggested , her head turning so that she could look over at the other. “ i mean surely , working none stop is doing more damage right -- breaks are healthy. ”

“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because I needed to complete my papers?” She said as if it was the most obviously thing in the world. “Because I want to do well in my classes? I don’t know, just a thought?” Ren opened up the lid of her tumbler and was utterly crushed that she was done her coffee so soon. “I’m not you. And when have you ever seen me skip? I’ll probably get myself another coffee before I head to class. Hope that keeps me up until later. Jesus. This week’s been brutal.” She paused, “Don’t you have class right now? Wait, what time is it?”  

gigi rolled her eyes at the others response , her attention now broken - which made the dancing girl fall back on the to the page of the book that she was drawn on to. she wasn’t really used to having to try too hard , it was drummed into her that the family business would be hers when she turned old enough - so school , grades -- meant nothing ( even if no matter how little she tried , she managed to sail through ). “ i have free periods until the end of the day....” she lied.
