Beyond Exquisitely Eye-Catching
The girl sat down comfortably on the couch and stretched out her casted leg. The plaster SLWC had already been on her for several days, and it showed: the once bright white plaster had turned slightly gray in places, with small scratches and scuff marks along the edges, especially around the ankle and heel. It looked like it had truly been part of her daily life for a while.
Her toes stuck out freely from the cast, their nails painted a soft pink, and the sole of her foot was slightly dirty from all the walking she had done. You could tell she really used this leg — and somehow, that made the sight even more fascinating.
“Guess what? I’m completely used to it now,” she said with a smile, slowly wiggling her toes. “The first day I was so careful with every step, but now walking in it almost feels natural.”
She turned her leg slightly to the side so you could get a better view of the more worn parts of the cast. The surface was smooth, but no longer pristine like it had been on the first day. You leaned closer and noticed the fine scratches, little signs that the cast was truly “alive,” moving through the days together with her.
