I clearly remember the day I took the first picture with a film camera. That was the 23rd of September, 2017 at Medialab, which is a half-year educational project that provides free art education for young artists in Armenia. Vahe kindly shared his Zenit with us- his students, to shoot still lives. I took a picture of dry helichrysums in the transparent jar put on the chair with floral ornaments.
A couple of days ago I went to the Dry Bridge, to meet Andrei, who sells old cameras. He promised to find one for me.
Film photography is still at the theoretical level of interest, magic, and admiration for me, but I know that I'll buy Kodak cft and take a portrait of Andrei, with a blue hat on his head, shadows of sorrow in his eyes, sitting alone beneath the fir tree.
