So, I'm currently taking notes from an online class session and we're reviewing and learning about the japanese and japanese Americans during the early 20th century to 1950's. It aggravates and infuriates me on how the US government treated this group of people. I'm watching clips on how the War Relocation Authority justified this unjust of a decision because of racism and war hysteria. Not to mention how they talk about the Japanese and japanese Americans as "willing to sacrifice their lives for the security of the nation" or "cheerfully volunteering". Shut up.
