Many adult #dragonflies have brilliant metallic colours.Their overall coloration is often a combination of yellow, red, brown, and black pigments, with structural colours.capable of #migrating across oceans, moving in any direction, and changing direction suddenly. The White-throated Kingfisher is a tree kingfisher, widely distributed in south Asia.During the breeding season they call loudly in the mornings from prominent perches including the tops of buildings in urban areas or on wires.This is a large kingfisher, 28 cm in length. The adult has a bright blue back, wings and tail.Its head, shoulders, flanks and lower belly are chestnut, and the throat and breast are white. These closed up portrait of a GreenKeelback ( Macropisthodon plumbicolor) made last year in taljai.when I did my coverage,I rarely saw any snakes at all.This can be identified by checking rich green or yellowish-green body marked with more or less irregular black bands or patches. Found in whole of peninsular India except eastern parts (West Bengal).They must have been closed to 50cm long.Head rounded with smooth and shiny scales.The tail also covered with highly keeled scales. It has been observed in road kills during monsoon. A colorful sprightly little bird, the plumage color in male gives the impression that the #birds is on flame. #females are paler and yellowish. A common bird along the well wooded #country side they are seen in small parties. Found this one on the outskirts taljai.

we traveled last year in February at manali,which was in uttarakhand state in India.while our industrial visit at Amritsar,and after that soon we traveled from kullu via manali stayed 10km away from main city.we took 14 hours for 300km. The next morning we were ready to travel after having breakfast and collecting a suit especially made for ice skating. They were managed sumo for us to traveled from hotel to Rohtang , and finally I captured beauty of Himalayan mountains from beside drive seat.

Eyes full of innocence light up the face of this #fungoidfrog which has a beautiful bronze on its back, contrasting with a black body.The funky designer patches on the legs are however the most striking feature of this animal.
