also!! daryl dropped some of his johnny lore today!

he said that johnny is the son of the chief! his family moved from hawaii to california after the immigration act passed in 1965, and then moved to oklahoma shortly after. the reason why he has the tattoos is to show that he is the chief’s son.

and that despite being close to his father in that sense, the trauma his father has continues to guide johnny and his dad’s relationship.
