दोस पराए देखि करि, चला हसन्त हसन्त,

अपने याद न आवई, जिनका आदि न अंत।

You laugh when you look at others’ faults and flaws,

But you forget about your own inadequacies that have no beginning and no end.

धीरे-धीरे रे मना, धीरे सब कुछ होए

माली सींचे सौ घड़ा, ऋतु आए फल होए।

Have patience, everything happens at its own pace.

The gardener may water the garden as frequently as he wants, the flowers will only bloom in spring.

कबीरा ते नर अन्ध है, गुरु को कहते और । हरि रूठे गुरु ठौर है, गुरु रुठै नहीं ठौर ॥

He is blind who doesn’t follow the teachings of his guru

If you offend God your guru will lead your way 

But if you offend your guru there’s no one that can help you.
