SCANDAL has been nominated for this year’s MTV VMAJ’s BEST TEEN CHOICE AWARD!

The MTV VMAJs are an annual event, to celebrate music videos’ finest. These videos are judged by 3 major points, including its video quality / impact / originality and compatability to the song, the quality of the song itself, and the artist’s personal charm / power. Previously, SCANDAL has also graced the MTV VMAJs in year 2010 and 2012, but were only as guest presenters.

The BEST TEEN CHOICE AWARD is deemed a special award, to be given to the artist that is most supported by younger music fans. The award is in collaboration with the purikura photo booth machine, ‘KATY2’, that is available in all 47-prefectures nationwide. Voting will be done through the machine itself, where you’re able to pick one of the nominated artists on the printing screen.

Other artists that are nominated alongside SCANDAL are: DOBERMAN INFINITY, Fujihara Sakura, SKY-HI and Yasuda Rei. The music video that accompanies SCANDAL’s nomination is “Take Me Out”.

The voting period is from 13th Sep to 30th Sep 2016. The results will be revealed on the MTV VMAJ site on 3rd October 2016.
