Slumped over at the front desk of the store she looked around only a few people in the store. She glanced outside rain drops splashing against the windows “ Great more freaking rain “  she said with a pout : Will it ever stop ?”  she said rhetoricallyÂ

“Nice to me you Addy,” he smiled. “The mutts are Lucy and Brooke. Excuse how they look at the moment, they’re headed in for summer haircuts as we speak and man, do they need it,” Kurt chuckled. “Anyway, I’m really sorry. I wasn’t paying good enough attention and like I said, when people run into me it’s generally not so great for them,” he shrugged.Â
“ It’s nice to meet you too Kurt” She smiled and giggled as she bend down to greet the curious pups “ Well hello Lucy and Brooke, it okay they are still cute.. at least you're one of the owners that get them cute for the summer” she explained with a shrug “  You're good , I may be small but I’ve always been tough ... but yea I can see how what you mean “Â

The girl was nervous, almost too nervous, especially for someone who hasn’t really bumped into someone. She was probably analytical, quickly examining the older redhead by her body language. Unfortunately for her (or maybe not), Anya was no less skilled in reading people by their movements. This one seemed suspicious, but she had no true base for this evaluation. “Have a good day, I guess?”
As stood there  looking at the woman, she could hear the harsh tone in her voice. She understood for the most part , some people were more introverts and didn’t handle other people well.  But it didn’t matter to her  she had apologized and that was that for her. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear  and simply smiled at the lady “ Same to you “ she said with a nodÂ
Kay searched for over ten minutes for something to keep her busy. In the end the only thing she could find was to reorganize the shelves out front. She was in the middle of doing this when she was approached by a young woman. “Yes, that would be me. What can I help you with?” She responded, happy to at last have something to do.
Addy smiled politely “ Oh fantastic .Well I’m in need on a really ...unique arrangement. It’s for a piece of artwork I’m working on “ she began to explain to the young lady . “ I would like something very vibrant “  she said with a smile. she glanced at the flowers that were in front of her  for a moment then turned back to Kay “ sadly I’m not an expert on flowers  in the least, which is why I came to you “Â

As Kurt rounded the curve into town, he glanced back to his truck bed where Brooke and Lucy, his two labs, sat happily, tongues hanging out of their mouths. It was almost 11:30 and he was headed to the groomer’s to get them some summer haircuts now that the weather was warm enough for them to be miserable with too much fur. Then at noon he promised to pick up Beth for some lunch at Today’s Catch. It couldn’t have been a more relaxing morning off and Kurt’s smile seemed to be semi-permanently plastered on his face as he got out of the driver’s side and unloaded his 2nd and 3rd favorite girls from the back. Preoccupied, he didn’t notice that he was about to bump into someone until it happened. Kurt couldn’t help but laugh at the suggestion that she’d hurt him. “Um no,” I’m fine, he chuckled, standing a good 10 inches taller and several inches wider. “I suppose it would be more appropriate to ask you the same question,” he smirked. “I’m Kurt,” he said, extending his hand.Â
 Addison took a small step back when she saw the very tall man and his two furry companions , she gave him a small smile  as she heard his response. She placed her headphones around her neck and shook her head “ Oh no i’m completely okay, a bit clumsy that’s all” she explained with a soft embarrassed giggle.  She tucked a strand of her fire red hair behind her ear as she extended a hand out to him “ It’s nice to meet you Kurt .... I’m Addison or well Addy “ she smiled again . Looking down at the two beautiful dogs “ and who might these wonderful companions be ? “ Addy said with a giggle.Â

Hearing the woman’s reply Addy placed a hand on her chest and let out a relieved sigh “ Again I’m sorry … I wasn’t paying any attention, completely my fault” she explained in a kind and sympathetic tone. there weren’t many people she talked to here in Raider Cove, even after being here for a year and then some. As she looked at the women for a moment, she couldn’t say  she knew her .However she couldn’t say she hadn’t seen her before, of course there were plenty of people here in the town that she didn’t know. Addy tended top stick to what she knew best  and the was games and sketches.  Â
“- That’s okay.” Anya promised, raising an eyebrow at the girl. Never in her life she bumped into someone so anxious about not stepping over people’s feet. Perhaps she was overly kind and considerate, or had some kind of shoe related trauma. Whatever it was, it was incredibly annoying. “Even if you did, mistakes happen.” She shrugged her shoulders, not really finding a care.Â
Addy wasn’t grate with people but she was pretty good at reading body language, so she noted when the woman raised an eyebrow. She sensed that  she might have overdone the apology, but in her defence regular people tended to make her nervous. She was use to nerds aka guys and girl who were not exactly the chatty types. she smile and nodded “ I suppose you're right “Â
Kay let out a long sigh after hanging up the phone. She was sure this day couldn’t get any worse but than again it was only one pm. Feeling the need to keep herself busy the young woman waddled her way out to the front of her shop in search of something, anything to do that would take her mind off her latest issues. At 30 weeks pregnant there really wasn’t much she could do in the way of moving things around but there for sure something she could do. If she was lucky someone would enter the shop and distract her from her troubles.
Addy was in search of something bright and welcoming to put in her home, she figured that flowers were her best bet. This was mainly because decorating was never her forte, but she needed something to help her with her  art muse. She had been in an art slump for a few days now, so she made her way to the local Floral shop. as she walked up she noticed a young lady standing out front “ I’m sorry but .. are you the Florist? or would you know where to find them?” she asked kindly with a smile as she noticed  the sweet baby bump.Â

Addy’s face lit up “ Oh freaking way !!! you like D& D !!  dude me too, but like you said no one really plays around here  or well at least I thought they didn’t”  she was beaming at the thought “ so My I ask your character ?  or is that a secret ?” she asked with a teasing toneÂ
“Uh yeah I love D&D I used to have a club for it at the high school.” The boy said excitedly. “It… Died pretty quickly.” He added and smiled excitedly when she asked about his character. “He’s a barbarian mountain dwarf. He weilds a great axe that he calls the widow maker.”
“ Me too!! Well in College, I kind of was a shadow in high school “ She nodded her head as he spoke “ Yea  groups are hard to Keep together especially in high school” She explain. “ Well Well Well look at you ...  Love the name of your axe “ She said with a smile. God she missed geeking out over D & D, she could talk about it  for hours with a fellow player.

Anya’s nose was deeply rooted in her phone screen, trying to dig up information on Tom’s daughter. When the guy she dated told he made mistakes with his girl she assumed he was overreacting. However, bumping into the younger woman herself the other day triggered her detective mode, and she decided to look up some details about the woman to gain a broader perspective of how bad the situation is. She was so stuck in her thoughts she almost got stepped on by a woman, who was also disconnected from her environment. “No, you didn’t.” She affirmed.

She napped her fingers as he answered her question “ Oh I thought you looked familiar …. Sorry I’m Addy by the way I work at the game store “ she said with a kind smile. she began to sway as she talked “ I’m guessing your a big gamer then huh ?”Â
“Yeah it- it’s kind of all I do.” He said, his face turning a bright color of red when he answered that. “I prefer tabletop stuff… you know… Dungeons and Dragons but nobody here really does that with me. So I’ve been playing some video games to keep myself busy. Is it nice working there? I wanted to apply.”
Addy’s face lit up “ Oh freaking way !!! you like D& D !!  dude me too, but like you said no one really plays around here  or well at least I thought they didn’t”  she was beaming at the thought “ so My I ask your character ?  or is that a secret ?” she asked with a teasing toneÂ

Michael gave her an understanding nod as he swung one of his earbuds around his finger. “It’s okay, me too.” The boy said, shaking his head as he looked to the woman. When she mentioned the game shop his head immediately made the connection. “Yeah! I practically live there!”Â

As she walked she was too focused on the amazing Pink Floyd chorus entering her ears , that she didn’t even notice that she was about to walk right into someone. Addy’s felt her foot step on someone else’s foot “ Oh so so sorry “ she said looking up and taking her headphones off “ I didn’t hurt you did I “ she asked with a sincere toneÂ
Michael had spent another full morning of staring at his college letters, unsure if he was willing to go or not. He relaxed the only way he knew how, by creating himself another adventure. His headphones were blaring some Twenty One Pilots as he walked down the sidewalk briskly. That was when someone stepped on his foot, assuming it was on purpose he started to turn and walk away before hearing the girl apologize. “It’s fine, I’m fine.”
Addy smiled “ again I’m sorry i want paying attention ... I was well , Listening to my music “ she said with a smile as she gestured to her headphones. She could feel her cheeks turning red, it wasn’t abnormal for Addy to be a little clumsy but she normally didn’t run people over. She took a second to look at the young man in front of her “ Do you ever go to It’s your turn ... you know the game shop ?” she asked curiously  feeling as if she knew him from somewhereÂ
