HI!!! sooo recently watched Wicked for good, and it got me thinking about this comic I was OBSESSED with back in 2014. Like, I talked about it contantly and showed it to anyone who would listen!! obv I made a cringey oc complete with shit spelling an a bad grasp of the original work's aesthetic.

SO HERE I AM!! Trying again with something that I am extremely proud of, and something that 14 yr old me would love too.

Here is my Black Brick Road of Oz oc, newly revamped. Originally she was a tinkerer who worked in Bastille's castle to fix up damaged automatons or scarecrows, with a little dog-like creature that acted as her pincushion. BBR has sinced stopped updating, but the author @xamag-draws has mentioned the idea of bringing it back in the future!

(also xamag if you're reading this, hello again! It's been over a decade but I still recoil at the memory of being a clingy middle schooler obbsessively shoving my ocs in your DMs and I'm so glad those messages are lost to time!!)

Finally settled on a design and name I like!! Lettie is a postman marrionett and became the circus' gopher not long after arriving. She gives off an impression of reliability, so the others tend to go to her for mundane tasks much to her dismay. She was pastor's kid, so saying no is hard for her.

Thought about it some, and I'm not really sure how much I like the nun look... Anyway heres some new designs tied to the 3 main archetypes in traditional marrionette shows! I'd love some feedback! let me know your favorite, or if you like the nun most!!

(side note: The nun look was meant to play into the religious trauma, but so was being a puppet, so it feels redundant and too specific for the DC

Hello!!! I do not like this very much tbh haha, initially I wanted to explore what my character's body looked like with the twisting around the abdomen, which turned into a swimsuit. And from there I kept adding characters I wanted to draw. I think its the background???
