[ It was rude to stare and Atsushi was aware of that. Yet here he was doing
exactly that. He had been on the phone speaking with a client, but when the
conversation ended, Atsushi couldn’t help but take notice of someone who
was very noticeable. He didn’t say anything at first, just watched. But when
Atsushi was caught in the act, he gave a polite smile and made his way over. ]
Matsuno-san, hello. Oh, don’t worry- just because i’m wearing a suit doesn’t
make me a sales man haha. You just caught my eye because… It’s a bit hard
not to notice you when you share the same face as a friend of mine.
[ That, and they had attended the same high school for a year. But Atsushi
doubted that the Matsuno had remembered him, so it was a bit irrelevant to
bring up. ]
I’m Atsushi Hashimoto. A friend of your brother Todomatsu-san, I don’t know
if he’s ever mentioned me before.
--- He had been spotted after all. And even worse, the man was coming over his way. Quickly he tried to formulate an escape plan, but it was too late. He had landed himself into... social interaction. The stranger knowing his surname however, was very unexpected. A tad bit creepy, even.
Ichimatsu fumbled over his greeting. A friend of Totty’s? Well he supposed that made sense in a weird way, if he had recognized him. He couldn’t imagine any of his other brothers hanging around someone like him. He did look a little familiar, but it wasn’t anyone he could place. He’d probably seen him at some bar or pachinko parlor.
“No, uh, I can’t say that he ever has. He doesn’t mention much, to be honest.”
He fidgeted with his hands in the pocket of his hoodie awkwardly. He’d wished for just a moment that at least one of his brothers were with him so he wouldn’t have to talk alone.
“I-I’m Ichimatsu. How do you know my brother?”
