Honestly, he won’t care at first.
I don’t see him caring about ranks either.
But after seeing how Shinobu acts towards them, he’d be a bit confused.
Why do they get special treatment and he doesn’t?!
He’d probably think it’s because they’re stronger than him, which is true.
This boy will appear out of nowhere and just ask them for a sparring battle...
Even after he loses several fights against them, his ego would still be too big for him to give up.
After a while, it’ll get annoying to both parties.
The pillars notice S/Os annoyed expression almost immediately, but they don’t say anything. Yet.
They take note of S/Os gloomy and annoyed aura and trace it back to Inosuke.
He would’ve gotten an ass whooping if it weren’t for S/O saving him.
Inosuke was confused on why they would want to help their ‘rival’, but was lowkey moved by it.
They started courting/dating shortly after, which didn’t sit right with some of the pillars.
Some of the pillars stalked them and S/O notices immediately, but air-head Inosuke doesn’t.
Gyomei could be hiding behind a small tree and Inosuke would still be too dumb to notice....
But when they see that S/O’s much happier and brighter now, they’d let them be.
Obanai and Sanemi still stalk them though.
