It’s been a long time guys. I still love this character, alongside GLaDOS and Starlight. It’s been truly a while since I’ve been on here fully. I’ve only been roleplaying with friends.

Since Tumblr did it’s stupid back when, it seems like most of the roleplayers have gone with it. Thankfully, that includes many of the people (I am not naming them) that gave many of my friends and me grief. Yeah, back then it was really like high school all over again. And it’s definitely a big factor in why I just up and left.

However… I’ve lurked here and there doesn’t seem to be as much left either? I suppose this post functions as a call to see just who is out there anyway. I’m not a picky player either. I’ll RP with just about anyone who puts in a few sentences. Give this post a like and I’ll see about doing something with you.

“But shall we return to our agreement of question asking and answering?” He wondered. “I’m up for whatever you think we should do…”

“I never implied that. But sure, if you wish to build one, I won’t stop you.” she said, with a laugh. “Having the world’s most expensive and dangerous microwave is a scientific achievement I suppose.” “Oh right. Tell me then. Have you ever walked on light? Hopefully not barefoot.”

“If you mean Hardlight, no, I have not personally. One of the members of my House of Ivo, Vile, created it to be weapons and shields for one of his suits of armor. Hardlight projections capable of grabbing enemies and protecting allies…”

“Oh? You didn’t tell me you had coworkers. And ones that don’t do things like put voices in your head.” she said. “Either way, I think we found a little project, didn’t we? I never even considered using it for anything other than platforms. I would be curious how such armor interacts with portals...” she would begin to brainstorm.

“I have no intention.” Julian chuckled. “But yes, a mutual exchange would be preferable.”

“If you wish, we could hook you up to a database… copy your information over and copy mine over…. What would you suggest?”

“How disappointing.” she would reply, quite suddenly. “Our first little project together would be creating a communication protocol to facilitate that.” she said. “So for now we’re going to have tell each other our little secrets. Like school children.” “But lets be honest. That wont take very long.” she said. “I suppose it gives us more time to build potato batteries.”

“I am Doctor Julian Ivo Robotnik… Ruler of half this planet, CEO of Robotnik Industries and leader of The House of Ivo…” Julian decided to give all his titles. “My world is several thousand years ahead of what Earth was at in its’ twenty second century.”

“Your construction is very interesting… I don’t suppose you’d provide me with a blueprint for it? Your design might provide me with some insights to improve my own…” He took advantage of EVERY technology he came across… No matter what world it was from.

“Depends on what Earth you’re talking about then. I feel like if I was created in the 90s, more like me could be produced. If Black Mesa didn’t do a fantastic job of being stupid that is.” she told him. “Don’t build an Anti Mass Spectrometer by the way.” she advised him. “Normally, the Enrichment Center requires me to not divulge company secrets. But considering I am Aperture... I think we can agree to a mutual exchange of information... Dr Robotnik.”

“As a robot, no. As a robot specifically designed after a Mobini Equine, yes.” Julian informed her, leading her to a balcony showing off the city.

“The mana is heavy tonight…” He admitted as he looked over the city that would span for miles.

“I do wonder if it impresses.”

She would silently follow him up to the balcony. “In a way, I quite like this body. Mostly for carrying capacity, should I ever need it. And offensive capability.” she would add. Now, of course, GLaDOS would be lying if she said she wasn’t impressed when she saw the rather expansive (and not primitive) city... and picturesque scene before her. It almost made her think what Aperture would be like if Cave hadn’t purchased that salt mine back in the day. “Well now... Its been a while since I’ve seen a city that doesn’t have gas lights and strange fashion tastes.” she said, panning her head back and forth. “Credit where credit is due, you’re doing a great job of not disappointing me.” she said.

“Said hedgehog is capable of running and spinning at speeds that allow him to slice through anything. He would defeat you just as easily as he defeated me. Your human had to solve puzzles. Sonic would just cut through the walls until he found you.”

“But you needn’t worry about him. I’ve reformed and I no longer fight the rodent. Our war is over.” He would finally let go of the gemstone. He didn’t need it as much as she did… But he didn’t like opening Warp Rings here. And so he would guide her to his clock shop and into the secret chamber that housed his portal home.

“Since you designed your body the way it is, I don’t think you’ll become humanoid when you transport over… It might be valuable to design a humanoid body for you…”

He went through… and arrived back in his main hanger in Robotropolis.

“Welcome.”

She would put the gem away in a saddlebag. “Running and spinning at said speeds is great. Until he finds the oxygen has been replaced with deadly neurotoxin.” she would quip. “I doubt Sonic would find anything of interest with me anyway.” She would follow him as he continued to talk. “Interesting. The games never went past the part Sonic got a voice actor. And acquired green eyes. You were still the villain though.” she would add. His clock shop wasn’t of too much interest to her. Besides some out of place technology here and there (and the large portal), it was what a clock shop should look like. She would say nothing as she went through, arriving on the other side still a pony. She would observe the use more of metallic black and greys, compared to the whites of Aperture. Of course, she was obviously just in a hangar though... one that seemed empty anyway, with the doors closed. “Perhaps. I quite like my body though.” she would tell him. “Surely I’m not that out of place here.”

Well, she finally made him… break somewhat. Not in the way she would have wanted. Which would involve him being a test subject. An inkling of hers said he would be more valuable to science in other ways… “Small world.” she would comment after hearing him introduce himself. “Color me surprised. I didn’t think I would meet a video game character. And have said video game character not be a comically round and overweight human. Getting defeated regularly by a pincushion.” she added. “Oh, I suppose I should introduce myself now. I’m the Genetic Lifeform and Disc Operating System. Of… Aperture Science. Yes.”

“….Glados.” Julian smirked.

“You know, in my own travels throughout the Multi-Verse, you’re a video game character as well. A villain that gets defeated twice. I may be defeated by a rodent capable of running a super speeds, but at least I don’t get defeated by a human armed with a quantum portal device.”

“BUT…. I am unlike my alternates. This form is temporary and only appears when I am here in Equestria. Normally, I am humanoid. Shall I take you to my world?” Might as well drop the charade.

GLaDOS stared at him for a second. Of course, no emotion showed on her face, but it’s not hard to see that it did strike a nerve. “And in your games said hedgehog destroyed your Star Wars tribute. Twice. By jumping and running fast. So, touche.” “If you wish to take me to your world, then fine. Impress me.” she told him. “I just hope you’ve learned to hedgehog proof it.”

“….I intend on using it to power yet another creation… another machine to expand my capabilities. I’ve already made several mining drones. This would be yet another. Mining out more gemstones, figuring out their capacities and capabilities and affinities…. The magic of this world is fascinating. And valuable.”

A chuckle. “This human wasn’t transformed into a pony?…. Fascinating.”

“I’m not one to give advice. Usually. But I feel like you should examine it’s uses before using it as a battery. I’m intend to do both at once, to use it as a battery for it’s specific spell.” she said. She was a little bit less hesitant to talk about science around him... mostly because he actually seemed intelligent. “And no, she wasn’t. I’m trying to find her... speaking of humans. Your mustache reminds me of a certain, fictional one. Does the name Sonic, or Robotnik sound familiar? I feel as if it’s a stretch, but worth asking anyway.”

Julian paused. “….You’re telling me that this was at one point Earth.” He clarified. Interesting. His own world was at one point Earth… But that was a LONG time ago.

“Fascinating.”

“But yes, magic does cause technology to move slower…. You have a point.” But his own Magi-Tek went on much further… Both could only go so far on their own… together… They were unstoppable.

“I believe it is your question now.”

“Yes. It was. I assume humans ruined it. Although I’ve found evidence of... otherworldly things here.” she told him. “Speaking of a human, there’s one running around out here. You’ll know her when you see her as the jumpsuit she’s wearing looks stupid on her.” “Oh, and right. It is my question, isn’t it. Well then, tell me, what exactly are you going to do with this gem?”
