PSA: For fan works, reblog and like from OP

Tumblr is rolling out a new reblog/notes system that completely disregards creators. In their new system, they're taking a twitter-style approach where reblogs will have their own notes that DO NOT contribute to the original post's notes.

Because of this, creators will no longer be able to see an accurate display of likes/reblogs/etc. This is completely altering the way feedback and responses to works are going to be received on this website.

If you come across a fan work that you enjoy, please take the extra step to go to OPs original post, and leave your comment/like/reblog there. Or go one step further and send an ask to OP directly to tell them what you liked!

I really hope Tumblr staff reverses course and reverts to the original reblog system for the sake of the large base of creators who use this site to share their works, but until then, please be considerate and make sure the creators here see/feel the love.

removing the border update on images:

you'll need to use the stylus extension (chrome, firefox, opera, github), on mobile you can use this extension on firefox (extensions are not available on ios afaik)

create a style:

set it to work on all sites under the tumblr domain:

copy paste this code:

this does not remove the rounded border from solid images

i just started getting the stupid borders again and post sizes seem to have been changed from 540 to 556 with an added padding on images that distorts them:

Perhaps...      With a liquid shimmer Dan Heng's own translucent tail manifests, folded behind him and gently swaying. Calm motions. ❝I'm like you.❞ Perhaps they'll be less hesitant to receive aid from one of their own kind. Or something adjacent. A hand held out and with a quick flash his first-aid kit hangs in it's grip. ❝Let me staunch the bleeding at the very least.❞

Upon the sight of their translucent appendage, ear perk up, as his gaze fixates on the other's tail. While there still is agitation in his movements, the earlier display of fear completely dissipates, replaced with curiosity. His folded wing unfurls, flapping languidly. Vic knows that taking care of his injuries will cause some discomfort, before they get better, but he can't help to stall things.

Still, he wasn't expecting to see a vidyadhara here of all places. He's sure they have a good reason, but he's ever so interested in their story. However, he supposes that his wounds take precedence over his thirst for knowledge. A deep sigh escapes, as he cautiously scoots forward, close enough to where his tail reaches toward them, attempting to wrap around their wrist, squeezing gently, before retracting back.
