So its easy to get caught up in the barn venue trend that has been going on for a while now… But lets talk about a library wedding. I absolutely ADORE library weddings. Not just because I’m a total nerd but because theres so many ways to use the space!

Want to surprise your groom?! Have him sit in a nice, comfy chair hidden away while you do your big reveal!

Get some alone time in before walking down the aisle

Whether you want to get in a relaxing read before the big or some some spiritual time together this is a great way to go over what matters most to you as a couple!

Get some Romantic, classic photos together

Some couples do a last dance, at the library you can opt for some for a slightly riskier version and slip into the bookshelves

I love the creativity that I am allowed with styled shoots! But to be honest putting it together is HARD work!

Many times I have asked couples to get dressed up and pretend to get married (which in my industry we call a styled shoot) for my wedding planning company.

Some of the hardest things I have to accomplish:

Find a venue

Find a couple (the guy has to have a suit)

Find a dress that will fit the “Bride”

Find a florist

Finding a couple can be hard because the venues are usually booked on weekends, leaving weekdays the only option.

Although the couples have a great time (my repeat couples are proof of that) it’s still something people give up their time to do for me. Knowing the struggles it’s only fair that I would be willing to do the same for another planners shoot.

*THIS IS NOT A SHOOT I PLANNED*

The biggest reason I model for other peoples shoots is I know it can be hard to find people available to do the shoots.

BUT, I also get the benefit of seeing how other people do things! The shoots I model for are usually in other areas and then I get to meet vendors in new places. I found that in shoots I model for I leave with potential vendor friends whereas the shoots people model for me in they leave with a whole new group of friends.

So I previously had a Tumblr.. hadn't been on in years and wanted a fresh start to match my goals!

I am a wedding and special event planner located in Florida!  I love to travel, read and create!
