If it's something that I need to do around the house, then it doesn't get done in one wave. I have to put a show on so it makes cleaning more fun and then I just ultimately get distracted and take a break that lasts hours. It just feels like a constant cycle of cleaning in my downtime because I just can't do it all at once. Oh definitely got the fairy lights and a cooler and some tiki torches. I might get in trouble at the hotel, but whatever. Gotta go all out.

That always gets me as well, I end up putting on something that I actually want to watch and then a few hours later i've been on the couch the whole day. I normally put on music now. Well then you sound like you've gone all out for this pool party. Great weather for it too now that it's warming up.

I think Taylor Swift could convince a lot of people to move to specific places if she really wanted. She's got a lot of reach and influence.

For a while i’ve thought that Facebook Marketplace was the new Craiglists, but now Facebook has given me more of a reason to believe that in the next 2 years we’re going to have a Netflix true crime documentary just dedicated to the social platform. On my event page I got recommended a Tortured Poet's Department Listening Party tomorrow night at 9pm...at some random condo in Vegas. Looked up the address and it’s a new condominium project trying to sale a few of their condos. So either i’m going to be sitting around listening to the album while being talked into a condo or i’m showing up and getting murdered, but either way i’m going because if it’s the former- that’s a clever fucking way to sell a condo and I got to give it to them. And if it’s the latter...still pretty cool and seems like the way to go. Anyways, how’s everyone’s week going? Any interesting stories? @glamourstarters

I have to say, I think the chances it's the second one are pretty high but I'd love for it to be the first one because like you I think thats an amazing way to try and sell a condo.

god no, i don't eat any of that stuff unless it's the end of an event. plus, i'd much rather drink a smoothie or eat some fruit. it might seem like grease is what you crave when you're hungover, but it's actually the salt that your body is after. your body is completely dehydrated and feeling dehydrated can mess with your body's sodium and potassium levels, making you crave salty meals in the morning.

Wow okay that's interesting, I did not know that. I actually don't drink so I don't struggle with hangovers anymore but that's good to know. So what you're saying is that if you made something with salt, you'd get the same effect?

i'm guessing i'm one of the few people who isn't suffering a hangover. i went to the spa yesterday before hitting up the shows. now i spent my afternoon at the pool and this is just pure bliss. @glamourstarters

You and me both, I sadly went to bed at a much earlier hour than I thought I would and ended up going to the gym. The pool sounds like a good choice too though.

I do that all the time too. I wish I was one of those people that could just simply see a mess, clean it up, and then do other things as I see them, but no. I have to make a day out of it where I have a bunch of stuff to do because I guess in my mind it makes me feel more accomplished? I have no idea. I don't even understand it, but there have been numerous times where i've started shit and then i've taken a 'break' and just not finished at all. It did. Decked out the whole balcony and it looks like a little Barbie pool party. Come check it out one night. So many high hours went into it and maybe I didn't get everything else I needed to do done...but I definitely feel accomplished and proud of my handy work.

I wish I could do that too. I'm just too easily distracted so I usually see something else I need to do in the middle of doing one task and then start on that and it just goes round and round. That sounds like you really went all out for it, i'll definitely have to come see it. Have you put lights up or anything? I feel like a night time pool party needs some fairy lights of some kind.

anyone else tell themselves over and over the night before your day off you're gonna get your life straightened out and deep clean your whole apartment and get a lot of shit done tomorrow...and then the next day you find yourself going to target and back home setting up a kiddie pool with no intention of doing what you need to do since the devil on your shoulder woke you up and told you that it's hot and you need a kiddie pool to relax in after being at a festival and convincing yourself adulting can be done a different day? i can't adult. @glamourstarters

I can sort of relate? I've never had the urge to go out and buy a pool like that but i've definitely woken up still with the intentions of cleaning the house and getting all my errands done and then gotten side tracked once I started and just started on a whole bunch of other things and never finished the stuff I was intending on doing in the first place. Sounds like your idea is so much better though, did the pool live up to your expectations?

Do you think grapes are the best choice for that? Surely if you're struggling with a hangover you go for something like In N Out? Or even Chick Fil A to soak up all the alcohol? At least thats what i'd do. That and I'd probably just go back to bed to be honest.

I think the vibe is always kind of boho beach-y right? Thats sort of what I usually get from it.

You think that would be cool? I don't know about that, buddy. Yeah - I can only imagine. Knowing all of that, what made you decide to elope in the first place? Hilarious. I might just have to look into it. A birthday bar crawl with a bunch of Elvis impersonators in tow sounds like a blast.

Absolutely. I could be doing a lot worse from the afterlife and there I'd be talking to you about my elopement. I don't really know? We actually didn't plan it or anything, just woke up one day and decided to elope that afternoon. It really does. Especially if you made them all stay in character the entire time, all the bouncers would so confused which would just add to the entertainment.

by the sounds of it i think everyone and their dog is going to be there, some by choice and some due to significant others. is it always a good time or is that the heat exhaustion talking?

I think it's a little bit of both. That being said, you can definitely prepare for Coachella, a lot of people go unprepared. You just need a lot more water than you think you're going to need.

so very true! oh the skills we are forced to learn thanks to work. it can be so hard especially when you have various projects going on or in talks. i feel like i've been busy for the past...three or so years. that's exactly it!

I think it's hardest when friends and family ask me about things i'm not allowed to talk about. You can't really tell them but sometimes it's hard not to.

I think they have a few. It's hard to mess anything up covered in chocolate. It's a coconut banana one, it's really good. The mango one is a close second.

if you think i'm talented, that tells me you must have taste. yeah i guess if it feels weird then it wasn't right. i'm glad that it's not been the case that you wake up the next day and were like ' oh fuck, what did i do ' you know ? especially where the world's watching.

I like to think that I do. I definitely think anyone who doesn't think you're talented doesn't have taste. Yeah exactly. We're definitely lucky that didn't happen.
