I am broke. Any generous people out there?
There's an old italian couple in the bus and the man just sang the entirety of APT. to his wife and then the wife gave him a little forehead kiss i can't 😭
Cat-sitting such an opinionated little idiot, it has me screaming in the backyard "I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU, YOU DON'T SPEAK ANY OF THE 4 LANGUAGES I SPEAK"
@tumblr how do you feel when you see me use the app just for thought-vomitting and then proceed to read all of the tumblr posts on instagram?
The vibes in Vinted are exactly the same in magnitude and opposite in polarity as the vibes in Aldi middle aisle, no i will not elaborate
What radicalised you?
Umm idk how about the time when lorde announced her first tour in 10 years and then the tickets vanished as soon as they appeared in the presale because bots and scalpers even though germany has some of the strictest laws when it comes to stuff like this and now I've gotta be miserable while scouring the fucking internet trying to find non-scammy ticket sources when the whole point of a presale is for fans to avoid exactly this???????????
I just started using Vinted and I just wanna know why is it sooooo weird🥲🙈
I just had an absolutely illogical conversation with someone where I could not figure out for the life of me if they wanted to bargain or not. And then they texted me 40 mins later asking if I reported them by any chance😷
I didn't even have my phone on hand!!!😵
As a highly introverted neurodivergent, I was feeling very anxious about posting what I truly wanted on instagram, but then I tricked my anxiety with "what if taylor swift does some taylurking on my feed, she'd definitely find me super interesting" and well, it worked.
Anyways, @taylorswift and @taylornation, you're both invited to follow me on instagram for the sake of my brain. Its usually just pictures of ducks. Thanks ♡
Count of scary things I did today after procrastinating on them for days (read weeks) because I have crippling anxiety:
1. Opened my email app just to see which emails I had received
2. Opened exactly 1 email. I did not die. Major victory
3. Sat for 3 mins by myself without distractions like music, podcast, audiobook etc. Wasn't so bad, but the darkness crept in eventually anyways.
4. Opened up my computer to do something, that I would have normally done on my phone. Nobody died. Another major victory.
Count of more scary things that I did today to slowly and microscopically defeat my anxiety and procrastination:
1. Bought and ate a frozen pizza
2. Wanted to go out for a walk in the sun, but couldn't. So instead I stood in the balcony in the sun for 5 mins. It worked!
3. Texted a friend about how I am doing without them asking🤯 that one was revolutionary.
4. Had a chill lunch of food + background netflix + scrolling instead of the usual eating while working
5. Scrolled on flatsearch website instead of instagram (i have to move in a month)
More scary things i did to microscopically defeat my anxiety:
1. Ate a different food for breakfast instead of something from my list of safe foods. Was good, will try again for sure.
2. Applied for a side quest job for extra cash, even though the task was out of my skillset. I didn't get the job, but not due to a skill issue. Someone else just got it before I could 🤷♀️
Count of more scary things i did to remind myself that I'm stronger than my anxiety:
1. Took out my trash. I'm germophobic so twas a big deal
2. Tried to negotiate rent during an apartment viewing interview. It was fine, the landlord did not reduce it but everything was polite and normal, no fighting. Very adulting stuff.
Tbh this could have been scarier for me to do, but when i actually had to do it I didn't even think twice about it because of the mom-friend override. My partner was there and he had told me in advance that he doesn't know how to bring up such an awkward topic. So I just did it.
More scary things I did:
1. Rescheduled a meeting because the day was too hectic for me. Normally I'd push through instead of inconveniencing someone else, but this time I didn't.
2. Sent a follow-up text a day after the interview
3. Cooked a completely improvised recipe. Tasted good, but would be better to eat it with rice.
More scary things i did in the last few days to beat my mental illness goblins:
1. Went out and met friends and took a little walk even when i was on my period, instead of staying all day in bed waiting to die. It felt great, I really should push myself to do more of that because it helps with period sufferings.
2. Went to a restaurant alone and ate there alone. It was awesome.
For anyone wondering: vegetarian quesadillas with smoked rice filling, jalapeños, salsa verde and limo.
3. Looked at the sunset alone from my window.
4. Made a plan for how to most efficiently manage my sunday chores. Got my period. So I just broke my plan to rest🤯 particularly proud of myself for this
I can't tell if i did any scary things over the last few days, but I'm alive and well so logic dictates that I must have done quite a few scary things to be able to come this far. All I know is that I was too emotionally exhausted to recognise my own efforts to bring myself here.
I'm gonna go brush my teeth.

hey so it’s march now aka the beginning of endometriosis awareness month and i feel obligated to remind you that debilitatingly painful periods are not normal. if you or someone you know is ending up sick or bedridden every month, you are not crazy and deserve medical attention from someone who will take you seriously
hey it’s march again let’s get this post circulating again

The fear of the unknown is strong, but I survived the "raised eyebrows small smile selfie" era of 2015, so I think I just. might. be. stronger.☝
