Persuasion

“Would you like to pose for another portrait?” Syd asks.

“I thought you didn’t like painting people.”

“I like painting you,” Syd replies, kissing the tip of Rick’s nose.

“I don’t know… Posing for the first portrait was a bit boring.”

“It doesn’t have to be boring this time.” Syd puts his arms around Rick’s waist and kisses his cheek. “We can take breaks whenever you want.” He kisses Rick’s jaw, his chin. “I’m not opposed to taking breaks.”

Rick laughs. “I think you’ve convinced me.”

“I knew I could do it,” Syd says, finally kissing him on the lips.
