Holy Ghost! - It Gets Dark

First new Holy Ghost! since their excellent 2011 self titled debut, and as the title implys it does indeed get darker. This new one is a massive stomping anthem in the same vein as their debut, just you know, darker. The 'Its Gets Dark' single is out now digitally and as a one sided 7" on DFA

Toro y Moi - So Many Details

Amazing new jam from Chaz's upcoming 3rd album 'Anything in Return,' due January 22nd (the single's out november 23rd) on carpark. If this track is anything to go buy then LP no.3 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated of next year.

Disclosure - Latch Feat. Sam Smith (video)

Disclosure just dropped the video for their great new single 'Latch,' And I can say having seen them perform it with Sam Smith on saturday its probably a contender for one of the best songs of 2012. The single is out now on iTunes.

Stream: Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes

The dope new Flylo album is finally streaming over at NPR. its a bit of a step in a new direction and considerably less chaotic than say, Cosmogramma but it still definitely ranks up there with Los Angeles. So far the highlight is definitely the Thom Yorke featuring 'Electric Candyman' (yes, thats really what the song is called.) 'Until the Quiet Comes' is out october 2nd via Warp.

The xx - Angels (Four Tet rmx) / BBC performance

Last night was a big night for the xx, as well as dropping a beautiful new Four Tet remix of 'Angels' (which is pretty much remix of the year, though any four tet remix seems to be a contender) they also played a selection of old and new songs with the BBC Philharmonic orchestra (listen Here, just after the half way mark for interview + performance.) The xx new album 'Coexist' is out now on Young Turks.

Mac DeMarco - Freaking Out The Neighborhood

Lotus Plaza - Black Buzz (video)

Beautiful new video from Deerhunter guitarist Lockett Pundt's side project, directed by Nautico. Pretty much the best video of the year (so far anyway.) Lotus Plaza's recent LP 'Spooky Action at a Distance' is out now via Kranky.

Sweet Valley - Eternal Champ (mixtape)

Wavves (a.k.a Nathan Williams) and his brother Joel just dropped the 2nd mixtape from their 'Sweet Valley' project and its pretty dope. Comprised of mostly video game sounding music with zelda-referencing titles (in fact the first track is a remix of the zelda theme) Grab it for free over at their bandcamp and catch them touring with Wu Tang's GZA later this year.
