There’s something about spiders that keeps pulling me back to them, especially when I can play with colors like these shifting teal and violet tones.

There are many questions about what kind of glass I use.

Usually it’s soft glass. It requires precise temperature control, because even a small extra movement can change the shape or create internal stress in the glass. The slug’s body is formed gradually: first the main volume, then stretching, weight balance, and the line of the back. No molds, no casting.
