just sitting here thinking about how he wants to believe that everything he’s doing in the coven is for the benefit of the good even if and when he questions some of the actions of the coven there’s always a small sliver of doubt that lingers within him. but those thoughts only last a second because he knows if they hinder any longer then it’s likely belos will sense doubt in his loyalty to him and the coven ://///

𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐄 days , he’s been keeping himself cooped up in his room when he wasn’t needed ; studying tirelessly into the history of WILD MAGIC and then some. things were getting tense around the castle ; the boy didn’t see it , but he knew something big was coming. and not just the DAY OF UNITY. it felt as though everyone around him had their eyes locked on him , waiting for the moment when he FAILS.

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐒 it was his own PARANOIA , or maybe it was ANXIETY ; well whatever it was , it was keeping him from getting much sleep. face barriered by a book , heavy eyes struggled to stay open. letting out an annoyed groan as he tries rereading the same passage a third time.

𝐀𝐍𝐃 after a FOURTH failed attempt , he slams the book shut suddenly throwing it across the room in frustration. he needed to WAKE UP.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 teen abruptly pulls away from his desk , opening the door to exit his room when he’s greeted by an unexpected guest. zeno stares blankly at the guard , hands rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn’t seeing things. surprise turns into CONFUSION , opening his mouth to question why he was there until eyes catch site of the cup in hand.

𝐆𝐀𝐙𝐄 shifts from the cup to ruv , a bit unsure on how to respond to the gesture. “ um... thanks ? ” faint hand slowly takes the cup , keeping eye contact with the guard , zeno still hesitantly drinks the cups contents. he’d be lying if he said he didn’t need the refreshing boost. letting out a satisfied sigh , he leaves only a little of the liquid left in the cup. a small smirk sneaking onto his features.

“ 𝐇𝐄𝐘 you didn’t put any poison in this right ? ha ! ”
