Glee fails a lot

Let's talk about how Glee fails. Will not publish mindless character bashing. This is for criticism of Glee's writing. I am not an unbiased person! If I strongly disagree, I will not post your submission. Please check the tags before submitting.

Well, you've seen the song they're singing in the next episode, right?  Start from there.

I think I may have figured out why the writers made Blaine cheat despite it being so OOC. I think it was because he hasn't really done anything to cause conflict. I can understand why they would want to do something along those line but I cannot fathom making it SO OOC. That's not fair to the character nor the actor, because everyone knows fan are hardcore. I just thought I would tell you before you shut down this blog, I will miss it despite just finding it.

I'm going to keep it up, but not take new submissions.  I might re-open it at a later time, but let's say the blog is on hiatus for now.  Glee viewers are used to those!

And I think they had Blaine cheat (which, yes, was very OOC) to cause drama and break them up and keep them broken up.  They don't care about the characterization of the characters.  They'll make them do whatever to force the plot.

I don't think that's a good idea.  I received enough hate from certain fandom factions on this gleefailures blog.

Would you consider putting this blog up for adoption?

I don't really trust it to anyone else, though people are of course free to make their own.  I will, however, leave it up for a while, though I will no longer be taking submissions.

I don't blame you. I was done after the attention brought to Bobby and Chris Brown this episode. So unnecessary.

Focus on the relationship of Blaine and Sam more than the actual couple of Sam and Brittany.

Glee failure: Somehow allowing Ohio to have 2 representatives at nationals. Shouldn't a winner be declared at the state level first when it only makes sense that each state should have one representative? Are they implying that ND were able to beat all other glee clubs in the nation (with each state having multiple contenders) after only one performance at the nationals round?

The way Will is constantly shaming women for their choices/behavior when he doesn't know the whole story and when it's none of his business. April, Emma, Quinn, Rachel, just to name a few.

I think this is in character. The failure is the narrative never or rarely correcting this, and Will never growing past it.

i really love your blog, it is interesting to hear other opinions on the show, mostly bc there are things i have never thought of but still agree with them, so thank you for making this blog, even though it is really sad that there are so many failures

Sadly, we may not be stupid, but Ryan Murphy's head is so far up his ass that he has become so.

Glee failure: Sam telling Santana that she's not good for Brittany, he is. It's not Sam who gets to decide who's good for Brittany and who's not, Brittany is the only one who should make that decision.

Mod note: This actually goes for Santana, too.  They both tried to take the decision out of Brittany's hands.
