The elusive and nearly extinct psychedelic ray, this species is believed to of evolved in the frigid North Pacific waters after a ship headed for Europe carrying thousands of pounds in Native American psychedelic opiates, crashed and sank in a violent storm. Most of the ocean life in the area was wiped out except for the resilient manta ray, which built up a tolerance for the strong psychedelics and eventually adapted the drug as a strong attack against prey, they shoot out a small amount of lucidium (a drug that fills in a small sack near the base of their tale) and it disorients their prey so the ray can consume it. There are believed less than 10 left on earth.
