No More Miko [AU Part 1/?]

To start off this blog, I’ll go ahead and write about an AU that my friend @five-nieves and I developed over DMs!

Miko rested her elbows on the counter as Five continued to ramble on. “Miko. You’re always around her now. It’s like you don’t even wanna talk to me anymore!”

He hasn’t really been himself lately. Maybe he’s just jealous or something. Miko mused to herself.

“That’s not true, Five. I’m around you more because we literally work together. We hang out after work too. Are you forgetting that?” She raised an eyebrow, looking at her friend. Ever since she met Shelly, he always had something negative to say about her. What’s his deal? He wouldn’t normally act like this.

“I’m not forgetting that. It’s just that you always hang around her!” He spat. Miko only rolled her eyes and looked away. “Seriously? You’re getting mad at me for hanging around a girl? Jeez.”

“What I’m saying is that she isn’t a good person.” Five shrugged. The purple-haired girl scowled. “Are you sure? You never talk to her! Every time she comes to the store you just glare at her like she upset you somehow!” Miko suddenly stood up and turned to him. She craned her head up to look at least a little bit taller. “You don’t have to be so rude. What’s gotten into you?”

“What’s gotten into me? You’re the one wasting your time by hanging around a girl!” The lanky male spoke with malice.

Miko narrowed her eyes and stepped back, looking away from him whist rubbing her temples. “..You know what? I’m just gonna go home after work. Cancel our plans to hang out today because you’re being incredibly selfish.”

She turned back to the counter and sighed. Maybe a walk home after work would calm her down.
