Is there a way to lift without a bag? I think it's pretty sus since it's summer now (for the northern hemisphere)

Like without a purse? If that's what you mean, you could go into a store in a mall that gives structured bags (bath and body works, Victoria's Secret, Sephora, there are a few others) and buy something small and cheap and ask for a larger bag. That way you have a bag to conceal things in to look less suspicious.

I'm super new to lifting so I'm kind of scared to lift from places like Ulta and Sephora and stuff! Do you know any places to start that are easier?

Hey there! When I first started lifting I would lift small things from Walmart. I would take probably one thing per trip, and I would do it by using the sleeve trick. Not every Walmart is the same, but I live in a small relatively crime free area so mine is pretty easy. Claire's is all around a fantastic place for beginners, and practicing concealing small items in these stores (or even at home!) will help you slowly work up to bigger lifting.

Can u use rubber bands to remove those black square tags???

The only 100% sure safe way to remove them is with a magnet, and cutting them out of clothes could also work. I wouldn't reccomend using rubber bands, because the way the tag is made isn't to where rubber bands would do anything, really. If you try it and it works it's most likely a fluke, and I definitely wouldn't use it on any tags with ink in them.

I recently obtained a pack of Nike socks…. And OMG they have Left and right letters sewn right in. This is genius…and makes me wonder why I haven’t seen this sooner… But also makes me need to know what makes them left and right…I see no actual difference….they are just normal socks. Hmm mm. Nike, what’s up with that? Is the sewn in L and R the only “difference”?

Hey doll! Logitech and other mouse companies like onn sometimes us RFIDS for tracking, and I think that's probably the kind you've got in your hand right there! I found that out when I was doing research before I got my mouse, and I don't have the exact link anymore, but I got it from the Logitech website. Hope this helped!!

🍁 Cheeky little Ulta + Walmart haul 🍁 

Can we just talk about the relative symmetry of the first picture?

I unfortunately ended up going to Ulta later than I planned, it was about 45 minutes before they closed so I had about 30 to get what I wanted. I’m sort of in love with the body butters I got, the coconut one smells so good! Also, I almost when for a clairsonic but it ended up making my bag too bulky so I had to put it back, boo. I might end up going back to Ulta Sunday evening, perhaps I’ll get it then, we’ll see.

Mine isn't very consistent with sticker tags, usually if you look around for a bit you'll find one that's not tagged.

Usually when I lift I don’t buy anything, unless I’m at a smaller store (like not in a mall) and today I was thinking about how to throw off SA’s if you don’t buy anything and since it’s close to graduation time I thought that maybe when you go into a store and an SA asks what you’re looking for instead of saying “oh I’m just looking around” you can say that your family asked you to give them ideas for graduation gifts so you’re looking around for that. I think then you can ask for specific items (I think when you ask an SA where an item is and then don’t buy it it can be sus sometimes) and they’ll assume you won’t be buying it, but maybe just seeing how much it is ya know?

This could also work any time of year, you could say it’s your birthday and your husband wanted some gift ideas for you or your anniversary is coming up, etc.

So this drugstore we have here in canada has those mirror dome things on the ceiling and it has like at least 5 or 5 of them in this one tiny drugstore and i keep hearing people say these are hidden cameras or can have cameras behind them, are these actually cameras?

I asked the same question a while back cause I didn’t know either. Now that I think about it, it may be just a mirror for on floor employees to look into to see any sus activity.

The first one IS a camera. It’s literally just a normal dome camera with a mirrored cover over it. 😦 It’s usually where ever normal dome camera’s are placed.

The second is NOT a camera. It’s just a convex mirror (though I’ve been calling it a shield mirror, oops.) so SA’s can see into certain spots (like known camera blindspots) with out scaring a suspected shoplifter off. 😌 These are usually put in high corners, so more can be seen.

No where does it say there’s a camera inside?? I always assumed places that installed these wanted to save money on cameras and wanted to depend on workers to stop shoplifting.

Here's a link for one that can have a camera in it http://www.twowaymirrors.com/dome.htm Not every mirrored dome is a two way mirror with a camera, they can be left empty just like the black domes for cameras can. You should always assume that there is a camera in there, and it is on, and it is watching you.
