it really bothers me

that there is no one in the limelight with a cleft lip. literally, no models, no actors, no musicians, not even a reality tv “star.” like, does no one with a cleft lip want to be a part of it, or does hollywood just not want that?

i don’t know just thinkin out loud.

So it’s come to my attention that apparently people with cleft lips/cleft palates don’t feel too comfortable dating others sometimes because they’re afraid it’ll rub people the wrong way? My girlfriend has a cleft lip, and she’s been afraid that I’ll be weirded out by it. I don’t mind at all though, it actually feels kind of nice against my lips when I kiss her. The way my lips press into hers and the little portion that presses into the indent, it feels nice. It kinda helps me feel secure. I don’t get why people wouldn’t date someone because of a cleft lip. They aren’t any less beautiful than others, in my opinion people with cleft lips are more beautiful, because in my experience, people who have them are more caring and sincere than people without. Sorry if this post wasn’t organized but the main point that I’m trying to get across is: people who have cleft lips/cleft palates are amazing people to date, and amazing people in general. (Also sorry but I’ve forgotten how to make readmore posts and I know this is kinda long. ^^;…)
