Ruin

It’s funny when you meet someone

You just want to talk with anyone

You’re so brave, you’re so good

You think you’re better, that you have everything under your control

Then you’re starting to loose yourself again

You look at this person and it’s not the same

You see their perfection

You see they’re so brave, they’re so good

You see they’re better, you see you care

You fucking care and you can’t handle it

And then you see you’re not for them

You see you’re pathetic, with no talent at all

You see you’re not that funny, you’re not that smart

But all you want is to hold them tight

But also you know you’ll ruin two lives

So maybe it’s time to ruin just one

Dust

We will never be together

Because standing right next to you

Shows me you’re so much better

 Only time will change your mind

You’ll see that I’m just a reflection

Of something you would like to try

 I’m good just for some time

To light somebody up

To make them feel right

Later, all that what’s left behind

Makes no sense

Nothing is perfect to anyone

 All they can see is dust

Of something that used to be „right”

With that dust, I loose my mind

I start to fade

And they can see what I really am
