Prepare for your real home
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler"
The grave is the first stage of the Hereafter.
What have we sent forward for it?
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“There are two blessings which many people lose: health and free time.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 6412]
We only realize the value of people, health, peace, and time after they’re gone. So don’t take your loved ones, your today, or your blessings for granted. Be grateful while you have them.
Ya Rabb, grant us khair in this life,
khair in the next,
and a good death.
Ameen Ya Rabbal 'Alameen 🤲
The scroll is endless.
Your life isn’t.
Hours on social media,
“No time” for Qur’an.
“Competition for more distracts you, until you visit the graves.” [102:1-2]
Your screen time = your priorities.
Your deeds = your reality.
Don’t wake up in the Ākhirah wishing you spent more time preparing for it.
وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
“And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.” — Qur’an 4:81
Let go.
Trust Him.
He’s handling it.
Allah is enough 🤍
Dua for Sabr and Closeness to Allah
O Allah, don’t make my trial be in my deen.
And don’t make this dunya my biggest concern.
Bring me so close to You that I never drift away again.
And when You take my loved ones back to You, grant me beautiful patience and a heart that finds peace only in You.
Ameen
*Friday Dos for Jumuah* in English 🕌
The best day of the week in Islam.
*Before Jumuah*
1. *Ghusl* - Take a full bath. The Prophet ﷺ said: _"Ghusl on Friday is obligatory for every adult"_
2. *Wear clean clothes* - Best clothes, preferably white. Apply perfume/attar
3. *Clip nails & groom hair* - This is a Sunnah of Friday
4. *Go to the masjid early* - The earlier you go, the greater the reward. Angels record the names of those who come early
5. *Read Surah Al-Kahf* - _"Whoever reads Surah Kahf on Friday will have a light between the two Fridays"_
*During Jumuah*
6. *Send abundant Durood* - _"Send blessings upon me abundantly on Friday"_ ﷺ
7. *Listen to the khutbah quietly* - No talking, keep your phone off. The reward is huge
8. *Pray 2 Sunnah* if you arrive early, then engage in dhikr and dua
9. *Make dua in the last hour after Asr* - There is an hour on Friday when dua is definitely accepted
*General Friday Sunnahs*
10. *Give charity* - Even if it’s small
11. *Visit the sick / maintain family ties*
12. *Avoid sins* - Especially backbiting, and doing business during the adhan
*Things to avoid*
- Stepping over people to get to the front
- Talking during the khutbah
- Coming late and missing the khutbah
*The Prophet ﷺ said:*
_"The best day the sun rises upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he was entered into Paradise, and on it he was expelled"_
May Allah accept our Jumuah 🤲
The Beauty of a Simple Nikah in Islam
In Islam, marriage is not about the venue, the car, or the guest list.
It’s about 2 people, 2 witnesses, and Allah
The Sunnah of Nikah is simple:
1. Proposal & Acceptance - Qabool hai
2. Mahr - Even if it’s an iron ring
3. Witnesses - 2 just witnesses
4. Waleemah - Even if it’s with one sheep[Bukhari]
That’s it. No debt. No show. No pressure.
The Prophet ﷺ said to Abdur Rahman ibn Awf: "May Allah bless you. Perform a waleemah even if it’s with one sheep."
He didn’t say “book the most expensive hall.”
It’s a reminder about the uncertainty of life and focusing on the Akhirah / Hereafter rather than just dunya / worldly life.
We are living in such times where there is so much chaos and trials. Suddenly news has become common of illnesses spreading everywhere.
Today we hear that "so-and-so" person passed away from cancer, and tomorrow we get the news that "so-and-so" has returned to Allah, and no one knows when our own turn will come.
O people! Think about your Hereafter. Reduce the love of this world from your hearts, and limit your worldly affairs to just worldly matters. I swear by Allah! When a person leaves this world, nothing will benefit them afterward except their good deeds. 💚✨
