Something I love about the Underworld is just how COLORFUL it is. Happy 39th Birthday Kid Icarus!!

Iris is the Goddess of the Rainbow as well as a messenger of the gods. Originally a servant to Hera, Iris now works for Zeus. Her messages usually involve using her fists nowadays.

Nyri is known as the Angel of Victory because she has never once lost a fight. Stoic and expressionless it's easy to assume she’s incapable of emotions (save for vague annoyance.) She has dedicated her life to serving Zeus. She uses a warhammer I haven't designed yet and has the wings of a golden eagle.

I don't know whether to call Zeus my design or my OC because he technically DOES exist within Kid Icarus but only as the "friendly god" and doesn't do much beyond that lol.

But anyway here is Zeus! He lives on Mt. Olympus which is basically just Las Vegas. This is just what he looks like at dawn--he actually changes color depending on the time of day. Next week I'll post one of his servants.

Zeus is the one and only King of the Gods. He spends his days on Mt. Olympus running his casino resort aptly named "Zeus’s Palace." He’s very charismatic, but also a bit out of touch. He has a habit of making jokes that are at best tone-deaf and at worst offensive. But since he’s so charming, (and how could you not love the King of the Gods?) It's best to just ignore these slips of the tongue.

Despite what his demeanor suggests, Zeus has a strong sense of justice and is determined to maintain the heavenly balance by any means possible.

This is the last canon character design I've done so far. The rest are all OCs, but I'll get to the rest of the canon cast eventually lol.

I didn't change much about Pit. This is because he is without flaw. I just gave him a little bit more armor and added more red to his design. Red is my favorite color I can't help it. He also has a mobility aid called the Light Wings. He still has to use the power of flight, but the wings are good for tiny bursts of flight. Mostly landing or jumping up high in a pinch when the power of flight is unavailable.

Detail I want to point out in my Viridi design is the little piranha plant on her shoulder. If you know you know lol. I think he should have a name, and knowing Viridi it'd probably be something super cutesy. Like Teeny? Bitey?

Also yes that is a human trapped in amber like a bug on her necklace. Did she really shrink down a human and stick them in there or is she just trying to freak Pit and Palutena out?

My plan was to post the designs in my backlog once a week until they were all uploaded, but waking up to see Kid Icarus trending got me way too excited so here is Arlon a day or two early.

I love Arlon's original design!! He just didn't scream Forces of Nature to me and I really wanted my designs to look unified. It was a fun challenge to mix natural elements with space elements. He's also just a fun challenge to draw in general. I love his long limbs and huge mustache

My finally finished Kid Icarus shoes! (feat. my dog)

This was the first time ever sewing, so I made plenty of mistakes but learned a lot along the way. I'm really happy with how they came out!!
