hello! this is a sideblog dedicated to my undertale and deltarune thought dumps. pfp is battat because i'm basically him at this point

in regards to the new battat and pluey keychain plushies (which appears to canonize "battat" as his actual name) i need everyone to know that this was in my drafts LOL

also is there a reason why tenna and spamton are in that trailer specifically or is toby fox fucking around with us

insane that the trailer blatantly showed us that they're reusing that knife attack pattern from the omega flowey fight at some point in the chapter. and kris is alone for that fight for some reason...

it's more bluest flower stocks for sure (since it's the patience soul attack pattern) but it raises sooo many questions. who (or what?) is kris fighting. why are they alone. will we see other attack patterns from the omega flowey fight in the chapter as well

does anybody else notice how the two fanon tennas are either 1) possessive abusive daddy dom yandere dark fiction ceo or 2) love interest whose suffering is mainly reduced to angst fuel for a male character, practically akin to how a female character is often treated in both canon and fanon works (despite canonically being a male character himself)

quite curious to me how tenna is associated with this specific smile/face but we never actually see it on himself

i'm really surprised not many people have talked about how, despite ramb claiming that the secret s-rank game is the "original game", it still seems to have been modified. tenna/his npc is straight up in there for some reason + i definitely don't think the shadow mantle/the holder was always there, considering what seam says in chapter 2 (about giving the gang a piece of cloth to help them with the next shadow crystal boss, only to not be able to find it)

(by user dimeadozencows) hope you don't mind me adding this onto the post, this is an incredibly interesting take! i've always felt that ramb was completely unaware of what was actually going on too and the idea that it was the controller itself that changed the game isn't something i've considered before and now i'm going to be thinking about that a lot...

just had a brain blast this morning.

(ignore the connecting lines in the first screenshot i got it from the deltarune wiki and idk how to get rid of it)

the rooms in the chapter 4 egg room correspond to the rank rooms in chapter 3 - the B rank room contains the ball machine that could take you to a hidden room if you enter 1225 points into the machine. the room in the middle is where the forgotten man is and where you get the egg.

one of the songs that kris plays in noelle’s house is called “kris_piano_waitingroom” in the game's files, which is a rendition of “TV WORLD”. since the song contains the “hip shop” leitmotif, which “Welcome to the Green Room” also has, "waiting room" could have a double meaning: “waiting room” could be referring to the green room, as a green room is what they call waiting rooms for performers that are in live theaters, but "waiting room" could also be referring to a hospital waiting room. we learn in chapter 1 that kris used to play the piano in the hospital waiting room, and currently, because of chapter 4's egg room, it's commonly theorized that kris was admitted to a hospital and attended art therapy sessions in the past due to trauma from dess's disappearance.

the seventh flying ace is also found in chapter 4's egg room - the other six are in chapter 3's egg room.
