G.L.S was established in the 90's by Sisters + best friendsz: Jazmin & Mahreebel In Eastern District High School now a daysz known as Progress High School in Brooklyn, NY. Jazmin moved away and Expanded G.L.S 2 other states and countries. GLS Founders are now adults and made three units for the GLS Ladies (20 & Up, Teensz & The Kiddiesz). GLS has then been passed down and carried on by Tashanique, Nayie, && Bibi

When G.L.S was officially created the Letters Stood for "Girl's Love Shopping" and over the years members have given the letters their own meaning according to what fits their personality best. ex: "Girl's Love Sex", "Girl's Love Sneakers, && ect... G.L.S Stands for every beautiful, sexy woman with a sense of fashion and style. G.L.S is Not a gang is a life style. Each member adds something to the group. All G.L.S girls have a story to tell but what separates us from the rest is our strength, honesty and loyalty! G.L.S has no nationality nor age limit + we are very diverse. There are no Males in G.L.S nor will it ever be a consideration.
