Another Day, Another Case

Hello, my name is Basil, living in a town called "Wasteland" although why it is named that I do not know. I tend to help those that are in need of help, although it is a relatively quiet town. (part of the Disney Wasteland rp)

On a starry night like this Basil sat at his window sill gazing at the clear sky. Taking this moment to go into deep thought. Normally he never really does this. Just lives day by day, never truly bored with his every day life. 

Lately something has changed within him and wasn't sure what it could be.

It could be how the cases have been lately....mainly either cold cases or the couple at the school, or the lost jewelry/pets ones.....could be biological.....technically we are different from ourselves from seven years ago.......as fascinating as it could be, could it be something else? could it be something more complicated......something simpler?

He got up from his window sill and grabbed for his violin. He knew if anything he could always play his beloved instrument to help him through. 

Though maybe if you had someone to talk to.....maybe a roommate or something you could actually speak with them......either that or just annoy them with your all night violin playing......but it would be different.....maybe that's what I need......something different! a newer case! or just maybe something different happen.

With that thought in mind he sat at his window sill, looking up at the sky as he brought his violin up onto his shoulder and started to play a lively tune for whom ever may come by to hear.

Thief Among the Young//open

Things had been slow for Basil lately and was getting bored of it all......at least till he got a phone call this morning. Coming down once again to the school to visit with the principle, this time it seemed more serious as he watched her lock the door, close the curtains and told the secretary not to let anyone in till said otherwise.

Now what could be so important that the principle calls me down and goes on to lock everyone else out?

He found out and now understood the lock down. Saying there's someone that's been stealing funds from each of the departments as well as equipment.

Oh here we go again.

Though it threw him off when the principle wanted to hire him to go undercover. 

Well.....it's a case and I can go into disguise.

He agreed and the principle already has everything set up for him to take on a simple name David Smith......well at least it's not too generic.

The principle explained that they would have a sign up sheet for the students tomorrow and thus he needs to be here to start his work.

Arrived the next day, principle fully approved of the disguise, fooled even for a good few minutes till Basil told the principle. Arrived to his classroom, he pulled the straight blondish hair out of his face and into a small ponytail. He pushes his grey small framed glasses up the bridge of his nose to his eyes that went from green to now brown. He examined his outfit of a polo shirt, jeans and converse shoes one more time before sitting down.

Forensic science huh, well at least the principle gave me a subject i would be able to actually teach. Well.....time to wait and watch.

That’s understandable. More opportunities, more freedom along with having more responsibility, but from talking to you I can see you being a more responsible one. You’ll do fine in college.

I’m sure, the school has some pretty good teachers from the ones I’ve talked to as well as some of the students there.

Yes, well just out of curiosity how big is the high school's library? I have come across some books I wanted to donate. Some to the local library and some to the school. I had students in my program a while back say that there was books they wished they had or more copies of.
