Last Friday we went to Pleinvrees Amsterdam. An old favourite of ours, visited many of their events, and this will not be the last one. Alle Farben was superb, and the atmosphere was amazing! It was the first time we went back to the Westerunie since its been renovated. It look way better that it used to. Overall a good party!
#videofriday back in September at Damage Control, we saw Ugandan Methods, whom had their premiere in the Netherlands. Very experimental stuff, best showcased in the video, dropping the beat at around 200 bpm. This was something seriously intense.
Our first time in the Gashouder was incredible. We cannot believe how beautiful and well coordinated the lighting was. That, together with Adam Bayer, Alan Fitzpatrick and more Drumcode heroes, made one of the most immersive events we have visited. We will definitely be retuning soon to the Gashouder.
It’s that time of the year again… The Amsterdam Dance Event is back!!!! 2.200 artist from all over the world will be performing at 120 different venues starting from the 14th until the 18th of October.
Last year we covered 3 events, but this time we are going big and will be covering 6 separate events!! It is going to be huge!!!

Oops, forgot about the post of Nachtcollege last week!! It was quite a drive to get there, but totally worth it! The temperature was good, clear sky, not very busy, but definitely a friendly atmosphere. Prunk, clouds, and Cleavage performed very well!!
Only 2 days to go until the Damage Control weekender. Lots of artists that will make their debut in Holland, some very familiar to our scene. It will be one of the heaviest parties we've been to.
Upcoming Saturday we will be attending Nachtcollege Festival!! We have been to many of their previous events, which all were a lot of fun. Now they present to us a new location and a bigger line-up, like their two-year anniversary!!
The weather was unbelievably shit, but we still had an amazing time!! We had so much fun complaining about how much everything sucked. At about 8 we even stood backstage for a while!! And we ate the best piece of lamb ever. Just a perfect rainy day in Holland!!!
In one week time, we will be attending Into The Woods Festival with maybe the biggest posse to date! This local festival is hosted every year in our home town Amersfoort. It has gained immense popularity year ago, and is has become notorious to sell out within half an hour!
For the first time in our history of partying, our event was canceled due to the extreme weather conditions. Translated; "Dear visitors, friends, With pain in my heart I need to conclude that because of the storm it is not possible tot continue CRAFT festival. The storm has wiped out 80% of the area. Because of this, we cannot deliver the quality we had in mind. And safety cannot be insured. A year of preparation and an amazing trailer with help of all our artists/friends. A sold out edition. And only positive reactions from everyone, and we mean EVERYONE!!! I would like to thank everyone for believing in Lose Your Mind and believing in me. We are going to find a fitting solution and come back to you tomorrow. Big kiss, Jeroen" We will await the answer of Lose Your Mind, and see how they are going to fix this.
Upcoming Saturday it's time for something different; we will be attending a hardstyle festival! We're heading back to the NDSM-Werf in Amsterdam for this huge event. Lots of big headliners we are looking forward to see!
Happy one-year anniversary!!!
Exactly one year ago we posted our very first post of the time we visited Wish Outdoor. To mark this special occasion, we look back at the very first festival we ever visited: I Love Techno in Gent. We traveled two and a half hours from Holland to Belgium to see a lot of artists we barely knew or never even heard of! A lot has changed since then, but we always remember the 10th of November 2013 as the start of the partying era!
Day 2 / Area A / Alle Farben This song is one hell of a remix of 'She Moves', the crowd went nuts when it dropped, and so did we!!
Day 1 / Area X / Nina Kraviz The closing set of Nina was in a style we haven't heard before. It was more dark en raw, really using tracks with a low and minimal bass line, and it was amazing!!!
Day 2 / Area C / Kölsch
We have waited for so long to hear this song live, and off course Kölsch himself drops it!
What a ride… The past 2 days have been one intense experience. Almost every artist that we love, and others we would like to see for the first time were there! Amazing performances by Kölsch, Jeff Mills and of course Nina Kraviz. A beautiful location with well designed stages, made it a pleasure to the eye as well. There was huge variety in different styles of music, so we recorded lots of videos! Some of which we be posted this week! This was undoubtedly one of the best party’s we’ve visited.
THANK YOU AWAKENINGS!!!!!
