I hate how badly nerfed Castiel is in the later seasons, i hate even more when fanfic authors nerf him for the sake of it being easier to write. I’ll be reading fic peacefully when they throw in a line like “ now that Cas is human” or “ with Cas’s grace levels low”. LIKE UGH!!!!! NOO!! WRITE HIM AS AN ANGEL!! I get it’s a bit harder sometimes, but a bit of me dies anytime he’s weakened so he like fucking sleep or some shit.
