i need indian youth to remember this anger and hold on to it and make sure that this time you stand up for muslims, dalits, trans community, framers, manipur and student activists the same way next time. now that you've seen how barbaric our police is, always remember that its first victim is minorities & it is our responsibility to let them know that we will not let that happen. when they come for them you stop the ball there itself.
You can make a movie with where the only white character is a man named Ray Cism whose one line of his 16 seconds of screen time is “I seriously hate women and minorities.” and you’ll find fifty bajillion reader x Ray Cism fanfics and renaissance style drawings of him with a halo of golden light
few updates you guys need to know about what's happening as an aftermath of 20th july & still the continued protest-
• they've started detaining students liberally. if you're going to the protest or coming from it they're very likely to detain you (the police has spread it check points all across central delhi). you'll be denied entry by auto or even walk, they'll either try to scare you away or detain you. if you're coming from other state especially by railway you'll be asked what are you here for & be asked to prove it.
• the government has blocked 18 metro stations surrounding jantar mantar. for some reason they're also covering up janpath & other nearby metro stations. all entrances to jantar mantar have been closed off & a complete internet shutdown near jantar mantar.
• they are denying lawyers contact with their clients. they've also been denied entry in police station to speak to their clients, that inspector has apologized as of now & an internal investigation for his behaviour is said to have started.
• they're also making sure that the protesters have no access to food, water or electricity. last night electricity supply to janpath was cut off ++ the police are now stopping delivery men at check points & seizing food ordered by supporters from all across the country. they're also threatening restaurant owners against delivering food to the protest site.
• cafes & shops in connaught place have been given a legal notice to shut down by 6 (since many of them were providing free water & washroom services to protesters). even nearby hotels have denied room booking to doctors.
• many creators have been offered money to speak against the protest & start a hate campaign.
• we are under complete state surveillance. the police is using meta ai glasses to record the protesters, and is later running a facial recognition check on them.
anyways if you're still planning to go this weekend because no more office & let's be honest none of us will stop showing our support no matter how much they try to scare us, here are few things you should remember & the resource links in case you need any help.
that education minster's resignation IS NOT ENOUGH. it will not fix the education system. more importantly, it will not fix this country. i need all of you to understand this is bigger than one minister, bigger than education, and bigger than yourselves. our fight isn't over until the bjp burns in hell.

one minute it’s “pride is political” “pride is a protest” and then the next people with palestinian flags aren’t allowed to enter the stage areas or to go to the stands FUCK RAINBOW WASHING, THE POLICE HAVE NO PLACE AT PRIDE
capitalism will consume, appropriate, and commodify everything it touches. DO NOT LET IT.
Don’t hate our government without me gang
Amir Khan saying that he never knew who was Sonam Wangchuk while filming 3 IDIOTS just speaks tons about who he is cz wdym you had never heard of him ....THAT MOVIE IS INSPIRED BY HIM WTF U MEAN U HAD NEVER HEARD ABT HIM BEFORE THAT
power to the people in delhi exercising their right to protest, but this is something that needs to be understood by this largely urban and upper caste dominated moment.
i hope that this wakes up people to stand up for the marginalized who are constantly subjected to such brutality.
there are two google docs of compiled proof of police brutality. i am linking them below & i will keep updating this post as i come across more because trust me there are more
“World’s Largest Democracy” I am currently adding more and more videos to this as the protests go on, if you have any extra footage of the

A not so brief account of my experience at the Delhi protest on the 20th of July:
