Tell me more about this shinji-akechi roommate situation. How'd they find each other? What do they do for jobs? I want to know all your headcannons for this au. Your comic is beautiful BTW. I'll be happy even if that's all we get of this au so don't feel pressured to respond.

YAY YAY YAY I have a tons of thoughts because I am not normal. This is what has been gathered up in my head so far that I can remember but I really like to think about them a lot and how their mutual avoidance of their past/persona-days could make them grow up into adulthood in their own messy ways.

#also despite shinji taking his meds for mental health issues. he stopped going to therapy after a while because “he had better things to do”#i love my fucked up brunette boys who would also be pissed off in their own reasons if you ask why they dont cut their hair short #ask #persona 5 #persona 3 #myart #also shinji literally just has had his place up as a regular apartment ad you would find anywhere #and akechi just saw it and how cheap it was so he grabbed the opportunity by the neck and everything #i have to highlight their circumstances of meeting is soooo regular which is what makes them work for me. both of you saw some horrors #yet you guys live now as just two normal(?) people

goro akechi is alive and it's his birthday

This is basically my own silly au of post-canon Akechi and Shinjiro both surviving their respective games (Shinji via the P3P possible alternative ending where he survives on the FEMC route, while Akechi via the possibility being clear in P5R especially) and living together as roommates. Both have their own issues still despite in their late 20s-early 30s and especially around connecting with people but since Shinji tries to be kinder to himself and Akechi more honest with himself, their dynamic is born from just being two regular people for once since forever and bonding within these circumstances. Neither have their personas anymore. Just the scar that they almost died yet they keep on living.

Neither reconnect with their respective groups (yet) due to their history and wanting to hide away sorta into a more subdued adult life. Also because I do like how the persona canons end and I like their restart of their life thing but still being haunted by their past selves/lives.
