āThey call me Rāoak Bristlebess.
I was named in the shadow of a toppled oak,
where a beetle worked the wood into soil and the leaves wore a hundred shapes.
Some say the name was given.
Others say I stole it.
The forest hasnāt corrected them.ā
Welcome to Goblinās QuestāØSome folk are born goblin. Others dig their way into it.āØI was both.
Once, long ago, I roamed the woods with a sharp eye and a silly grin, pockets heavy with stones, bottle caps and beetle shells. Then the black cloud came, and for a long while I forgot where Iād hidden myself. Epilepsy took the map. BPD scattered the compass.
But here I am, following the scent of damp earth back to my own burrow.āØThis is a record of the findingāmy finding.āØOf turtle shells and toadlings, bristled leaves and beetle wings.āØOf crafting a life that feels like home to the goblin Iāve always been.
May what you find here put a smile in your heart and a chuckle in your belly. Wander the woods with me. Letās scavenge the dark places and find a brighter light together.
