anyway, if i remember correctly it wasn't rly mentioned or displayed in emh (maybe i'm wrong? i dunno) but,,, alex's death really, really messed up jeff. like, he was absolutely devastated mainly because ... everyone in his family was practically gone at that point, even the people who weren't family. everyone. jessa was gone. his mom, dad. sparky. and now his own brother. like, yeah, he still had evan and vinny but they were going through their own shit. but with alex he just seemed to be done with everything. he wouldn't leave his room, he'd barely talk, barely sleep. honestly he was kind of ready to pull the pin right there but just couldn't find it in himself to do it.
