"Me? I’m Boris. Who are you?" He responded, lifting his chin slightly as he sniffed around, taking in all the intoxicating aromas swirling around him.

Snapping from his dazed state, he gave a shy wave, wiggling his fingers sheepishly.

The goddess Persephone, another audience with her.  Expecting the usual annoyance with gods feeling, she felt a warmth in her chest.  What? Lightning looked down at her chest and a warming glow was emitting from her.  The realization hit her once she raised her gaze back to the goddess.  ”Tch, what would your husband think?”

The goddess covered her chest with a hand, trying hide the warm glow.”Have you ever heard of a faithful God?” She said with a chuckle after all none in her family were faithful to their beloved, especially her father. “but he would be pretty mad.”

Escaping the clutches of a god seemed like it would never happen.  Now it would appear her soulmate was a goddess.  The irony burned deep inside her and mixed in with the warmth flowing through her.  ”Invoking a god’s wrath is what I do best.”
