Ditius had decided to visit cabin 11 today, known to everyone but the recently arrived, and unclaimed, Aster, so when she came back- with a basket brimming with strawberries on one elbow and a book in the other- to the cabin, she was surprised to find him there, she had heard gods visited camp, but she was surprised she’d ran into one so quickly.

“Oh! This….seems to be an unfortunate timing! I’ll leave you all to it.” She giggles, smiling as her wings flutter behind her.

She was a tad flustered, beginning to turn around, her blonde braided hair swinging with the momentum.

Hermaphroditis was sitting atop one of the tables on the side of the room, smiling as he spoke to one of his half siblings. His eyes flicked up when he noticed the girl, brows lowering for a brief few seconds before they widened again, especially as her wings came into view. He put up a hand to stop the conversation, getting onto his feet before he stepped forward.

“Wait! There is no need to go so soon, not with those things at your side. Are you another sibling, sweet one?” He asked, crossing the room and coming in front of her.

What was once a very nice, clean bedroom was no longer. In its wake, among the pillows, flowers and books, was Hermaphroditius, blonde hair in a tangled mess. He was searching across the floor, hands pushing things around, wearing an interesting simple black turtle neck and slacks.

“Where is it? I know it was here earlier!”

“Mania! Gods, you haven’t happen to have seen a wrapped box in gold have you? I was going to drop off the gift for my father and visit my mortal siblings and yet everything I prepared went missing. Children of Hermes are supposed to be the ones stealing, not being stolen from!”

Ditius didn’t think anything was off when his sister appeared into his bedroom, making herself comfortable as he worked on his make up. He glanced over to her, raising a brow when she spoke, and had moved to turn and dismiss the allegation.

“I have, but I am deathly scared of him regecting me so I plan on never, ever saying anything because him being at least somewhat healthy is nice, even though I am desperate for his attention.”

Hermaphroditius blinked once. Then twice, putting a hand over his mouth and looking towards Mania with wide eyes.

“Why did I say that?! I didn’t intend to say that!!!”

"Ugh no you're so real for that, if Tove even had an inkling-" She slaps a hand over her mouth.

"Ignore that! You should! Please, he needs to know that other people are out there that would love him like he deserves." She waves off an admission of her own.

“Tove? As in, daughter of Apollo Tove?” Eager to also not think about the confession he made, he pointed at her. “So you want me to confess and yet you will not? Hypocritical, isn’t it?” He rose a brow, setting down his brow brush to cross his arms.

"No! It's different! She's met someone, I think. She's been talking about some guy in passing and I wanna tear him apart, and beg her to be mine instead- i-it's just not in the cards." She shakes her head, digging her nails into her palm.

"You have a chance though. You could have the thing you want most, a relationship with the person you've been madly in love with." She points out.

“… I’m sorry.” Those words didn’t leave the blonde’s lips very often. His eyes had softened, hand reaching out to touch her palm. “Not a lot of people know what that is like. But there will be someone destined for you. Perhaps even this won’t work out?” He smiled. “We could make Macedon make it up to you and make her break up with him.”

“Regarding Anteros… I’m scared he will reject me. Or worse yet, he will not but truely… never love me.” By the end, he nearly had to choke on the words, frowning. “I don’t know why I am saying all this… it- it’s like I can’t get the words to stop-“

"It sucks, but I'd rather her be happy and in my life, than unhappy and leave." She whispers.

"I-I need her like mortals need air, Di, I-I can't even imagine life without her, and it's crazy cause I haven't even known her that long."

"And I feel the same way about the unstoppable words thing." She wrinkles her nose.

Ditius nodded, understanding no matter what he could say, it would bring little comfort. At the mention of Anteros again, Ditius’ cheeks flushed and he turned away. Usually, he would give a vague promise of maybe, and yet instead, “I’m not going to tell him. I’ve made my bed and decided I will be content being alone.”

[Hermes captures him in a tight hug, excited to see one of his children. He had to admit, it was awkward. Hermaphroditus spend more time with his mother than Hermes, so actually trust to bond with him was foreign. But he's trying! He soon let go, before bending down and smiling brightly.]

How are you, Ditius? Well?

“Father!”

A warmth radiated from the young god as he returned the embrace to his father, squeezing him tight before he withdrew and offered him a wide smile, demeanor sunny as he reached for his hand.

“Very, I am surprised to see you but very happy. It has been a while. How are you?”

Faring well, I suppose. I missed you all! My apologies for not being around Olympus, work and all. My, I am glad you are happy to see me.

[He chuckled, shaking his hand and sighing.]

Tell me, my child, what went around Olympus while I was gone?

“We’ve missed you. Things have been… interesting since your absence. At least in the court of my Mother. Eros, I believe, is set to return to Olympus soon after his banishment to the Demigod Camp for a while for… a lot of things.” He sighs as well. “Besides this I would not know. What about you? How fair your travels? Things must be busy to keep you out of date.”
